Elegant and well-balanced, it is easy to pair with meals, and is also delicious on its own. My friend's nickname is Tama-chan and his wife's maiden name is Izumi, so he chose this sake as a pun. I visited Araiya Brewery for an in-store tasting of Sekiya Brewery's sake, which I couldn't taste because I had to drive afterwards 😅. Sake that has been aged for only one year and bottled. I tried to hold off on opening it until New Year's, but my fridge was at capacity 🤣🤣 so I opened it 😅. Well, the aroma is green apple 🍏, soft mouthfeel, fresh sweetness and delicious flavor with a sourness that slowly builds up ✨. On the second day, I think the sweetness has deepened. I've read that it's recommended to cool it down a little bit, so if you let it sit for a while after pouring it, the sweetness and umami will deepen and become more intense ✨.

Rice used is Dewa Sanzan As indicated by the alcohol content of 19 degrees, it is a gut-punching wine. ‼️ And it has the same throat and mouthfeel as you would expect from Muroka Nama-no-Hara Sake. The last area where we could see the Chichibu Mountains, Mount Asama, Mount Haruna, Mount Akagi (and the snow-capped Tanigawa Mountains in the background) was truly scenic. It was a great way to end my trip to Gunma, and I couldn't resist eating some Jyoshu barley pork cutlets with a side of the view! Lastly, in honor of the menchikatsu, we had "Kanto no Hana" (flower of Kanto), which goes well with meat. Banana and tropical fruit aroma. The palate has a unique touch of lactic acid beverage-type softness and sweet-sourness. However, it is not clingy and gradually becomes clearer, giving it a sense of balance that makes it suitable for eating. It was a beautiful taste, not unlike the earlier "Kwangto"! We will visit again next year with Gunma fever. 🙂‍↕️
