Still alive! I've been totally slacking off, I never got sick or anything. I was addicted to whiskey, gin, and shochu, I haven't been drinking sake at all. Now that the weather is colder, I'm back to sake✨. Kyuheiji, a JR Nagoya Takashimaya exclusive: 👴🏻 Up until last year, it was Omachi raw sake, This year, it is a Nakadori Yamada-Nishiki sake! I'm not sure if it's "bespoke" or "separate" 🤣. Gentle sweetness and umami, then acidity and sharpness ✨. The wineiness that is typical of Kuheiji was subdued! I'll give you a rundown of the drinks I had before I skipped it 😊.

Yamashiroya and the Yamaoka Family🍶. Outside drinking review, I drank 3 kinds and ended up posting 2😅. My first Yamashiroya was nigori sake! It was freshly sipped and still alive and well👍! Rice juice with a lot of flavor ✨. Yamaoka family also full of flavor 🍜. Back to the special miso 😋.

A small stream! Low al ✨ of sweet water I'm using Hidahomare, but it's a breeze, But last year they started to use it in Lihuisen 😊. It has a refreshing taste, with a gentle sweetness that gives way to a sharp bitterness that is quite nice 😋. Yamaoka family's spicy miso! It's good that you can choose the spicy level 🌶. I chose medium spicy, but I think small spicy is good enough for me 🥵.

Variations! Ni-Rabbit's 10th Anniversary Sake✨ After all, Futoagi is all about OMACHI 😊. Not too sweet and tasty, with a firm acidity in the second half! I checked and it seems to be a summer sake 🌞. First time at Nakadaya! Chose this one for my pink mood💖. The scent is sweet and fruity🍑. Gentle acidity from the sweet flavor ✨ Quite easy to drink 😋. On YouTube by Anjush Watanabe, there was a location in Ichinomiya, Aichi about a month ago, I was curious about the izakaya he was visiting at the time, so I went ✨. Second Gifu sake rice in 42 years 🌾. By the way, 42 years ago it was apparently "Hidahomare", but it is only the second sake rice developed in the prefecture, there are more sake rice unique to the brewery! Not to forget "Ibi no Homare" from Imi and Chiyonohana 😊. The aroma is gorgeous✨ The label says it's a "dry" rice wine, The rice flavor is very robust 😋. The second half of the bottle is dry and crisp 👍. The company moved to a new office ✨ I went to the neighborhood ramen shop that took care of me when I was in the previous office twice last week alone🤣. And I ordered the same one 🍜🍜. The miso here is delicious! It's hard to go there now, but I'll be back 😭

The only Kyushu sake that was in the fridge beforehand was Nabeshima's Omachi raw sake 🍲 which I was able to drink last year. Juicy, sweet, delicious and bitter✨. Delicious as always 😋. Kumamoto craft gin! Bears Book = Kumamoto 🧸📖. Refreshing woody 🌳fruity 🍊 Soothing 😊.
