When I enthusiastically told an acquaintance that I wanted to conquer sake from all over Japan at Sake-no-Wawa, he told me that he had a classmate who had a friend who had taken over a sake brewery and gave me a bottle of Kikusen. Thanks to him, it was my first time in Shizuoka Prefecture🤣. The taste is refreshing and easy to drink. The first Kinokuniya Bunzaemon! It has the fresh aroma of unpasteurized sake and a smooth, non-viscous mouthfeel. It has a high alcohol content of 18 degrees, which makes it very drinkable, but it is also very refreshing and tasty.

Although it's next door, I haven't had Osaka's sake yet. I was thinking of Akishika or Katanozakura for Osaka, but I found this one at AEON today while shopping. There is no outstanding sweetness or spiciness, but a well-balanced taste. It's a good sake for eating. When I paired it with yuba and fried eggplant with sesame oil, I felt like I could drink as much as I wanted 😋. Good sake in the neighborhood too👍.

This sake was given to us by a visitor to Kobayashi Sake Brewery in Niigata, which is famous for its signature Akita dog. It is slightly sweet and has a subtle rice flavor, and although it was made in December 2010, it does not have an aged feel and is refreshing and easy to drink. It has a slight peach and lactic acid flavor. I think it is one of the most delicious alcoholic sake.

The slight chilliness of the gas also gives the wine a freshness👍.
