This sake was tasted along with the Junmai Ginjo I posted earlier. We were there when the store opened on the first day of tasting and sales, so all the sakes were unsealed, so we were able to sample them in fresh condition. I recommend going on Wednesday when the store opens 😆. It is Rokumaru with 60% rice polishing ratio. It is the same as Shinomine. It has more richness and umami than Junmai Ginjo. It is suitable for warming up.

I couldn't go anywhere during the second half of GW because I had to stay at home. So on the last day, I will just enjoy the feeling of traveling with this cup of sake. It has an alcoholic taste, but it is sweet and easy to drink. Since it is a Hokkaido sake, we also had some delicacies that Men-chan gave us. Thank you very much.

Hokkaido Sake! I've been curious about Asahiyama Zoo's 🐱 limited edition sake 🍶 for a while now. I was able to buy it at Haneda ✈️ and opened the bottle 😁. But.......it's the sake 🍶. Aroma, flavor, aftertaste, sharpness.......................................... It is the sake 🍶. To be honest, I don't have high expectations for this kind of souvenir sake... but it's a pity that they are all the same (´; omega; `). It's just my personal opinion, but I thought it would be nice if it had some more characteristics... 😞. The design is cute...but as a person who loves to drink, it's a shame 😅.

I'm opening another bottle today😍. My first Miyazaki sake. Everyone says Miyazaki is hard to get, so I popped in 🤣 I ordered it with Jidori Koko 👍. It's a bit sweet, but not too sweet. It has a modern umami taste, similar to a brand I've had before like Tsushima-ya 😋 It's quite refreshing and the sharpness disappears quickly 😋 It seems to be the only brewery in Miyazaki that specializes in sake 😋 It's delicious - thanks for making sake 😂.

Scoring: ☆☆☆☆ Miyazaki's only sake brewery specializing in sake, Chitoku Shuzo. It has a mild aroma with a good sweetness 😄. Refreshing drink with little lingering aftertaste. 😋 A lightly flavored umami type, or perhaps an 🏠. Not much umami or bitterness lingering on the tongue. Easy to drink but needs one more punch😅. It has an old fashioned taste but with a modern drinking style😋. Quite a tasty sake😋. Tonight I'm having seafood nabe with oysters, cod and scallops 🎵👍

The sake I chose when I returned home for Obon was Gold Junmai Daiginjo by Popular Sake Brewery. This sake brewery is very particular about the traditional method of making sake, and everything is made in wooden vats. It is a junmai daiginjo that is polished to 50%, so there is no cloying taste at all ✨It starts with an elegant sweetness and rice flavor, with the aroma of the wooden vat and a slight bitterness at the end. 5/10 Canned sake from Shotoku Shuzo. Kyoto has an image of an increasing number of these. Kyo-no-kiraki is Kyoto's original sake brewing rice and is used only in Kyoto. The taste is quite dry. The aroma is also subdued, which is probably due to the fact that it is hard to sense in the can. It has a sharp taste, so it is a good sake to accompany sake snacks.

Second souvenir from KazKaz. It is a brand name planned and sold by 7 sake stores in Aomori. Rice used is 100% Hanasoui. The top-tasting aroma is a calm ginjo aroma.
