At Yotterette, a direct produce market in Wakayama, Japan.
I went to three markets to buy chestnuts and persimmons. I went to three produce markets and bought chestnuts🌰 and persimmons; I went in early October, so the persimmons did not seem to be in season yet.
I was happy to see that the fish was cheap and fresh.
I received saba-zushi (mackerel sushi) as a gift from Kyoto, so I decided to match the Pacific Ocean at Sandesi.
It has a clear and refreshing taste.
It had a refreshing taste, but it also had a delicious flavor that went well with the mackerel sushi.

This is another royal lineage with the delicious taste of rice, slight sweetness and acidity 😌.
The slight carbonation 🫧 and the slight alkanes add a change of taste 😏.
The combination with the motsu-nimotsu (pork bone stew) gave it a motsu-motsu feeling, and the sake washed away my daily fatigue along with the nostalgic melodies that played in the restaurant 🤗.

I went on a one-day trip to a hot spring in Wakayama.
Since I was there, I had a drink at an izakaya (Japanese style bar) near the station.
The bonito in Wakayama is delicious! Mochi bonito in early spring is also good, but the fat from the returning bonito goes well with sake.
Taiheiyo is a big-boned sake that goes well with heated sake.
The Yamahai was wonderful.
I think it's been a while since I've had a Yamahai.
It's good to go out for a drink once in a while.

Fittingly, it was a nice and lively place with a lot of young people. The sake selection was just as good as the Pacific Bar, with a large bottle of Pacific sake for 800 yen, and there were many old men in the bar. It was a nice place.

初めての日本酒は田酒
This year's trip was my first in Wakayama Prefecture! We drove from Saitama Prefecture and had a blast 🚗🚗.
On the second day of the trip, we walked along the Kumano Kodo in the morning and stayed at Yunomine Onsen. This is the sake we received at the inn, and the third photo is the proof of bathing in the tsuboyu (hot spring)!

I stopped by an izakaya with the same name as the sake I was drinking on a trip to Wakayama. The Junmai sake we ordered at this izakaya, which is open for lunchtime drinking and has a great atmosphere. I enjoyed the aroma and taste of the rice.

A friend of mine who is a fisherman landed it in Katsuura, Wakayama and gave it to me as a souvenir.
It has a classic flavor with a subdued smell, but it goes well with sashimi and kakiage (deep fried shrimp), and is easy to drink.
I warmed up about 1 gou of the sake, which I enjoyed, but the two fishermen said they preferred it cold.
