Purchased at a local supermarket during a trip to the Kii Peninsula.
This sake is a simple pure rice sake. Light and easy to drink, it goes well with seafood as it is from a port town.
National Sake Fair 2025(´)
Standard Junmai with beautiful acidity.
You can often find this sake at Sake-no-wa, but as expected, it is a definite sake!
There is nothing special to say about it in a good way, so it's easy to post!
The Pacific Ocean with a view of the Pacific Ocean
With sama sushi bought at a supermarket near Shingu Station...
They go well together.
Sushi is a refreshing contrast to sake, which is very strong when you drink it.
The combination of local sake, local snacks, and local scenery is the best!
Sake purchased on a trip to Kumano.
Cold
The color is dark, but the mouthfeel is watery. However, the umami flavor rises softly afterwards.
Heated
This sake won the gold medal in the premium heated category at the National Heated Sake Contest 2024, so we tried heating it up at home, even though it's a pain.
Slightly hotter than human skin. Mellow on the palate, with a brown sugar-like aroma. The brown sugar aroma is a bit pungent, but not in a bad way; it enhances the umami. The aftertaste is slightly bitter, but the assertion of bitterness is moderate.
I love the sake of this vast name
The brilliant sun, the base! The great ocean, the Pacific Ocean!
I love this sake that reminds me of the Kuroshio Current
