I bought it because it was in Hankyu. I've had a sake called "Kaga no Tsuki no Niji" before, but I wonder if the contents are the same. It is thin and cloudy. Somehow I have the impression that Tamakae is not my favorite, but I bought it because sake really varies and I can't decide what I like or dislike based on a little experience. It is more refreshing than the previous Monsoon I drank. It's not as cloudy, so it's less kijoshu-like, but I personally prefer it. It has none of the bitterness or old dryness that I have come to associate with Tamakae. I guess the taste of sake can be completely different depending on what characteristics of the rice are brought out and how and where the sake is made. Monsoon is a sake I would like to drink regularly.
