Purchased at Kintetsu Department Store event, Sake Tour. I compared it with Junmai Ginjo and was impressed with this one, so I bought it. Fresh and citrusy? It is sweet at the beginning, but the sweetness and umami come in the second half of the bottle. I have to admit that I've only seen Hyo Hyohi at department store events. Apparently, the brewery that makes the sake is in Awa City, which is different from the address on the label.

Nisshin Shuzui Hyoutaiko Dry Junmai Limited Label This brewery is located in Kamiita-machi, Tokushima Prefecture. The rice is polished to 70% Tokushima rice. Blended with two types of dry junmai sake. Soft rice aroma, strong taste and sharp finish. It has a strong flavor and a sharp aftertaste. Recommended to be served at room temperature to lukewarm. #Nihon-shu

The third cup is Hyoho Taikoh. The reading is hisago taikou. If you can read it on the first sight, it's great. (I couldn't read it 💦). After the junmai sake, the sake was again aluzoe. It starts with umami and acidity, and is sharp and dry. It is light and dry. Motsu nabe (motsu hot pot). Soy sauce based with a strong flavor that goes well with sake 😃. It was delicious ‼️ My only regret is that I should have taken a picture before mixing it 😵.

Event. Sake Fair 2024. I can't read the label 🏷️😅 I asked the person in charge and he said it reads "Hisagotaikai". It was my first time to hear it. There are so many kinds of sake 😳. This sake won the gold medal in 2024. The color is clear. The mouthfeel is moist and sweet. Fresh sweetness like pear 🍐. Mild on the palate. There is a ginjo aroma. The sharpness seems to disappear quickly. Gold medal winning sake 🥇....it is still different...☺️

Last night in Tokyo The members of the same university all had their own things to do, so I ate alone. I got tired of walking outside, so I finished near the hotel and started drinking in the room while working 🍶. Awa Tensui Purchased at an antenna store in Tokushima and Kagawa Aroma is like white wine Light sweetness followed by umami and astringency Light, but delicious. The sweetness is not fruity, but it's a nice match with the astringency afterwards. The one bottle was gone in no time 🤣.

Junmai Daiginjo from Awa Tokushima. This sake has a fruity, gorgeous aroma and a nice sharpness. With this, the four prefectures of Shikoku have been conquered (laugh). The bottle is interesting because the stopper is cork with metal fittings and has a characteristic bottle like a champagne bottle.
