Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO⑧
Hyo-taiko, which is rarely seen outside of Kintetsu Department Store events
We drank
Hyo-Taiko Junmai Nama Nama Sake Akisakari
I didn't know about this rice, so I asked about it and was told that it is edible rice from Tokushima Prefecture.
It wasn't very sweet, but it had a good volume of flavor.
Hyoho Taikoh Junmai Ginjo Namaishiki
I didn't take a picture of it because I drank it in the past but I didn't buy it 😅I should have taken a picture 💦.
This was my favorite of all the draft sake I had this time.
Honor student type sweet and tasty sake.
Hyoutaiko - Low-polished Junmai Namaishiki
They wanted to offer a slightly different sake from the others.
Sake with 80% polished rice and quite 🫶 with a complex flavor.
Sake with a low-polished rice base
This is the base of the low-polished raw sake, so we tasted this one as well.
It is indeed a very peculiar sake.
I felt it was suitable for warming up.
Hyoho Taikoh Junmai Ginjo
I liked this one the best because of its strong sweetness.
When I told them I couldn't buy it because of my refrigerator, they said they would be coming to the basement in May for tasting and sales, so I thought I would remember to go and buy it!
Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO④
Hyotaiko, which is not so familiar to Tokushima Prefecture, but often seen at events.
Hyotei Taikoh Junmai Namaisake Akisakari
Akisakari is made from edible rice. It tastes a little full and voluminous, with a chocolaty and alcoholic aftertaste.
◯Hyohi Taikoh Low-polished Junmai Namaishiki
It is a unique 80% polished rice pure sake. It has a slightly perverted taste. It is said that it was made in order to make it unique from other sake. I thought it would be better if it was more aggressive.
◯Hyoho Taikoh Junmai Ginjyo Namaishiki
It has no peculiarities and is a good quality sake with a normal sweet flavor.
◯Hyohi Taikoh Junmai Ginjo
Sour and refreshing.
◯Hyohi Taikoh Junmai Ginjo (spring label)
It is a limited edition for spring. It has a light and refreshing taste. It is refreshing and easy to drink.
◯Kodo
It is said to be called "Kodo". We have had it before. It has a strong acidity and a little citrusy taste.
I don't think they had LED dream yeast this time 🤔.
Purchased at a department store event, this is a local sake from Awa City, Tokushima Prefecture.
The water used is said to be from the Yoshino River.
It is a classic type of sweet sake with a delicious taste of rice.
You can drink it with a gulp. 🙆♂️ lol
Nisshin Shuzui
Hyoutaiko Dry Junmai Limited Label
This brewery is located in Kamiita-machi, Tokushima Prefecture.
The rice is polished to 70% Tokushima rice.
Blended with two types of dry junmai sake.
Soft rice aroma, strong taste and sharp finish.
It has a strong flavor and a sharp aftertaste.
Recommended to be served at room temperature to lukewarm.
#Nihon-shu
The third cup is Hyoho Taikoh.
The reading is hisago taikou.
If you can read it on the first sight, it's great.
(I couldn't read it 💦).
After the junmai sake, the sake was again aluzoe.
It starts with umami and acidity, and is sharp and dry.
It is light and dry.
Motsu nabe (motsu hot pot).
Soy sauce based with a strong flavor that goes well with sake 😃.
It was delicious ‼️
My only regret is that I should have taken a picture before mixing it 😵.
Good evening, soumacho 😃.
I've never been to Awaji Island or Tokushima 🤗I'd love to visit and try the local food and sake 🥲.
The Hyoutai ko😆 looks delicious too 😋.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃.
Thank you for your comment 🙇.
My wife likes the combination of Awaji Island and Tokushima quite a bit and we visit once every couple of years.
The food and scenery are unique 😄.
The result of the medical checkup showed that my liver was normal, so I started the week with a local sake, a local sake that does not contain much of the local sake, with a moderate aroma and a delicious flavor.
One I got at an antenna store in Shinbashi
The rice used is Awa Yamadanishiki
Slightly sweet on the palate
The aftertaste is clean and dry.
It is an orthodox Jungin Shochu-shu.
Event.
Sake Fair 2024.
I can't read the label 🏷️😅
I asked the person in charge and he said it reads "Hisagotaikai".
It was my first time to hear it.
There are so many kinds of sake 😳.
This sake won the gold medal in 2024.
The color is clear.
The mouthfeel is moist and sweet. Fresh sweetness like pear 🍐.
Mild on the palate.
There is a ginjo aroma.
The sharpness seems to disappear quickly.
Gold medal winning sake 🥇....it is still different...☺️
