It is a very good normal sake. It has a sweet and strong flavor, and it is perfect when heated. It has a moderate alcohol content, which is typical of a normal sake. It is a versatile sake that also makes it delicious! I once thought that Kichiemon Nakamura was a great sake because my brother is a Kabuki fanatic, and this sake may have the same weight. If it's a regular sake, I imagine it would be a Junmai sake, and it would be a very bad one at that! I would definitely like to try the junmai sake! Mr. Ota is in Shinjuku! Mr. Ota went to a sake bar in Shinjuku, where the sake was delicious, and to Robeliya, a very deep bar in Shinjuku's Golden Gai. A 30-minute broadcast in two bars is too short!

The sake is brewed by "Toroki Shouten", a sake brewer who was involved in growing the rice and brewing it together with Wakatakeya Sake Brewery. I got it as a sign of support 😊 Is it what's called a light, dry taste? It had a faintly sweet aroma, but the sip was refreshingly watery! The flavor and bitterness come out on the palate. I was drinking it with cream cheese as an entrée, but it doesn't get in the way, so it's probably just right for a mid-meal drink 😊.

The rice used is Asahi rice produced in Okayama Prefecture. This is a good food sake that can be drunk easily. It has just a hint of sweetness, with a crisp, bitter and spicy finish. There is nothing to hold you back, so you can't help but drink it. This is one of the several bottles I purchased from Doroki Sake Store, including the Koei Kiku, under the guidance of MAJ. I was there just two and a half months ago, so I missed it a lot! Once again, Kamakura is a wonderful place! I bought this Wakaba unfiltered sake in the summer and felt it was still young, so I let it sleep in the closet. It has a good balance of flavor, with the punch of unfiltered sake, but without losing the simple country feel of Wakaba. I put it in the closet again, but it was good enough. It's not Wakaba, but Higuchi Shinyo, a triple axel that is anything but rustic! The ROC is still very difficult, but I hope the Japanese will do their best to get on the podium!
