It felt light at the moment of drinking, but the aftertaste was robust. According to the taste map on the official website, it is in the dry and thick category. It tastes good cold or at room temperature.
Next is a local sake from Ofunato.
This sake is inspired by the "Miracle Pine Tree" in the neighboring town of Rikuzentakata.
A classic sake with just the right amount of sweetness and umami from the rice. It might be good warmed up.
Drunken Sake is one of my favorite sake breweries.
The characteristic of the sake here is dusty and mellow.
I like this feeling.
I have been supporting them since after the reconstruction.
I recommend it.
I bought it when I heard it was on the waiting list at the Nagoya T department store. It was easy to drink and I loved it. The Kagaya-supervised Noto chawanmushi (steamed rice with crab innards) was delicious...perfect for tonight!
