Drinking with my wife on our wedding anniversary last week, when we visited Tsushima Tsuru at the Metropolitan Morioka New Wing (laughs). Next up was a Hiyoroshi (Hiyori) Junmai Harazake by Drunken Sen. It's a refreshingly dry sake. The description says to enjoy the mellow flavor, but that's just my personal opinion... (^_^;) Good with sashimi! It was delicious! (^○^)

I tried three types of draft sake at a tasting and sale of Drunken Sen in Hankyu. I couldn't find a picture of the first one I drank, the Honjozo Nama, even though I searched for it. I couldn't find a picture of the first one I drank, but I guess it was because it wasn't winter time and there was no snow. I was told that this was a matured nama sake. It was delicious, with a beautiful, round taste. I had a hard time deciding which one to buy, but the last one I tasted was a fruity special junmai, so I went for that one.

Tasted and purchased at Umeda Hankyu. Sake from the Drunken Sake Brewery. It seems to be a terroir-like sake. It is delicious with a little bit of gasiness and both fruity and rice flavor. Once the gas disappears, the fruity taste disappears and the umami flavor takes center stage. I don't feel much spiciness. I wasn't sure whether to register it as Tagata, but the cap was Drunken Sen, so I registered it as Drunken Sen.

Drunken Sake Brewery Hatsusen Hatsusake Tank Shinmai-brewed Honjozo Nama-genshu The brewery is located in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture. The first sake of 2017. Sake sold by reservation only in December. Sake that spares the passing year and celebrates the coming year. Slightly sweet aroma, faint carbonation, The taste of rice is firm. Good evening! 🙋 Today was sunny and it was beyond warm and hot in the car in Iwate Prefecture. This difference in temperature is a factor that can make you sick if you are not careful, so you have to adjust with what you wear well. Yesterday, I attended a celebration party for an acquaintance in Ofunato. I attended the party. It was a celebration for the fact that he received the Minister's Commendation, so there were various prominent people sitting in the audience. I was very happy to be there 😄. The toast was made with sake from the local brewery, Drunken Sake Brewery. After that, we had beer made with hops from Tono, and I was the only one who ordered sake (smiles). Although it was all-you-can-drink, the sake was Drunken's Special Junmai Namae. It was not dry, but had an honest and mild taste. It was easy to drink with food. Normally, I should be pouring beers around, but this time, I was talking with my friend who sat next to me and the party was over in no time! 😱 I'll be leaving early tomorrow, so I decided to pass on the after-party. 😅 Thanks for your time. P.S. The fourth photo is a turtle sitting at the entrance of Sakurayama Shrine in Morioka. I heard that if you rub it, it will prolong your life. 😁. The turtle tawashi had been renewed and was now a real turtle tawashi (lol).

Good evening, ma-ki-! I'm so glad to see you here 😄. When it is cold in the morning and warm during the day, elderly people lose the ability to feel, so they are adversely affected by the heat and become dehydrated 😱. The food was delicious and we talked too much and drank too much. 😅

Purchased as a gift for my wife's discharge from the hospital. The mellowness spreads in the mouth from the first sip. It has a nice aftertaste and leaves a nice aftertaste. Sake from Iwate does not betray you. It is delicious. I would like to repeat it, although it is a little more expensive.

This is the last bottle I purchased at the Hankyu Kougen Matsuri (brewer's festival). I've been a drunken fan since the hiyaoroshi sake I got last year 😊. This Junmai Ginjo is also well balanced and great👍👍👍👍
