This is not a strange sake, but it is a local brand of Chiyo Shuzo, the brewer of Shinomine. I drank it heated. The initial aroma is of alcohol with a hint of acidity. It was a bit unusual in that it was very dry in the mouth, like water, but the acidity was accentuated by a tangy taste at the end. The owner said it was like drinking water when chilled. Thank you for the sake!
