Despite its rich flavor
Despite its rich taste, it has a refreshing aftertaste.
If you want to start drinking Kikuhime like the first cup of sake
This is the first one!
It is a truly wonderful sake.
The taste is classic. It is the opposite of fruity, with a caramelized flavor, not dry, and light, or rather light for a Kikuhime. I bought it for heating sake, but it is recommended to be served cold.
The quirky naming may indicate that it can be poured from a bottle that has been left at room temperature and immediately tastes great. I would like to give it the title of sake suitable for drinking from "Asahi Beer Cups" in a sense of praise.
Degree of buying again 5/10
(I bought a bottle of Kikuhime Tsurunori Nama-version at Tricolor Kobe in Motomachi, Kobe two months ago, and since there were still many bottles left in the showcase, I rescued two bottles that just barely fit in our cellar. I wonder if the store made a mistake in the number of bottles they purchased.
Postscript 2025/6/4
It tastes better when slightly warmed up to about 40 degrees Celsius.
The name suggests that it is crisp or refreshing, but it is thick.
I got tired of drinking it, so I left it at room temperature for a year, and it became easier to drink.
It is delicious.
