Our first fall sake is Nara Sake❣️ We will not be having hiyaoroshi sake, but rather a draft sake from over the summer 🙏. It has a matured flavor and fruity taste with a good acidity. This Shinomine is also delicious 😆 and reasonably priced too👍! I hope you all enjoy it too.

The third pink label sake following Takachiyo and Yamamoto Uki Uki is Shinomine Rokumaru (≧∇≦❣️) Since the light nigori version was followed by a clear one, I chose the clear one this time (it has almost the same specs and price as the light nigori version...) This is the first time for me to drink Shinomine made with Akaban Omachi, but it has a slight schwarziness that moderately stimulates the tongue, and the clean sweetness and umami that is typical of Shinomine spreads 🤤. The acidity is pleasant and easy to drink❗️I can't get enough of it🤪. I enjoyed it as a food sake👍

The 2nd day of the New Year. It's my favorite Shinomine! Ise Nishiki (rice) has a strong aroma and sweetness, with a unique peculiarity, but it is very good🎵!

Chiyo Shuzo Shinomine Azur Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu The brewery is located in Gosho City, Nara Prefecture. The rice is polished to 55% Yamadanishiki grown in Nara Prefecture. This sake is brewed with Kyokai No. 6 yeast (Shinsei yeast). A little white malted rice is used. Gentle fruity aroma, soft umami of rice, and refreshing citrus acidity, Fresh and crisp finish. #Nihon-shu

4.25+/5 Fairly dry with a nice bit of acidity. Pear, lime, coconut, raw almond. There’s just a tiny hint of sweetness but it isn’t too strongly dry either. Love the bit of acidity on this and the bright fruity flavors.

4.25+/5 Deep and slightly savory, but with a good light sweetness. Honey roasted almond, pear, mushroom, stone. Nutty and a little earthy. A hint of saline, faint acidity. Really nice, slightly spicy alcoholy burn. Gentle bitterness.

Shinomine yesterday. I think it is a very major sake in Nara, but this was the first time I drank Shinomine as far as I can remember. Fruity ginjo aroma flavor, maybe a rather dry sharpness at the end. It was delicious.

The best sake I have ever tasted in my life. The first strong umami and the lingering aftertaste are so perfect that you would think there is no other sake better than this. You will never get tired of drinking this sake, and you can drink it again and again.
