At the Hakurei Sake Brewery booth, we were allowed to compare the Vivid series. This is the best part of the tasting event😋. Blue, green, and red, all delicious and interesting. I had a short chat with the brewery owner as well, as I had visited there before. Personally, I prefer the sweet red.

Sake from the Takeshita Brewery, birthplace of former Prime Minister Takeshita. Gorgeous aroma, The fruity flavor is just as the label says. The sweetness is reminiscent of pineapple, The sweetness reminds one of pineapple, and gradually the bitterness appears and disappears. It is easy to drink and goes down smoothly, I thought it was a sake to be enjoyed on its own rather than paired with something else. I thought it was a sake to be enjoyed by itself rather than to be paired with something else.

We are invited to the head office to have a good drink after a not-so-fun work day. The head office is far away and uncomfortable, so we are bersassa. The specs are the same. We compared the different yeasts. I didn't know yeast could make such a difference. It is easier to tell the difference than the rice. There are different tastes. The No. 9 is very clear and has little assertiveness. No. 18 has a more gorgeous aroma and taste. Olizeh is amazing! The story on the back label is interesting wish.

I stopped by the brewery for the first time in a while. I used to have a special fire-brewed junmai and a sake called "Mariko no shu" which is named after the female toji (master brewer?). Both were quite dry, classical sake. Both were quite dry classical sake, and I had the impression, for better or worse, that this is what local sake is supposed to be like. This was probably my first nigori sake, but it looked delicious, so I bought some! I wondered if the beautiful woman at the sales counter was Mariko herself? It has a classical aroma with a banana feel. It is more of a hint than a standing aroma. It has a classical taste and is dry, but you can drink it by itself if you want! It is very easy to drink because it has a lot of turbidity, which gives it a strong umami flavor and makes it easy to taste the sweetness. I drank it with kimchi nabe (kimchi stew), and I think it goes well with strong flavors and nabe dishes! It also seems to go well with meat, and I am sure it would go well with ginger-grilled pork or chicken steak. I imagine it is like Kikuhime nigori or Tamagawa nigori! To be honest, I think it's one of the best in the Koshu Plum Grove, so I'd be happy to buy a bottle and drink it slowly. It can probably be stored at room temperature until early spring.

I had decided on Mariko's Sake for my first visit to Saitama. The Sato Sake Brewery is run by Mariko Sato, the toji of the brewery. There is almost no alcohol taste, and the spiciness comes later with more umami. It is sweet and umami, but the spiciness lingers a little.

Tochigi Prefecture will receive "Kubi" from Amataka Shuzo 🤗. It's a raw sake with a surprisingly low alcohol content of 9% ❗️ I'm curious to know what it tastes like😆. Now then... Oh, it smells like rice 🌾🌾. It tastes slightly sweet but also alcoholic 🍶. The taste is still grain-like, but it's not as robust as it should be. Not too sweet for its sake level of -16, and with an acidity of 2.2, it's well balanced ✨. The low alcohol content makes it easy to drink. ☺️ It's a little more acidic than sweet, but it's good for people who aren't used to drinking sake ✨. Definitely tastes better chilled 😋. Be careful, the higher the temperature, the more blurred the taste will become. ⚠️

The rice polishing ratio is 35% following the previous 50%. This sake is brewed with Gohyakumangoku from the brewer's hometown. It is sweet and sour, with a slight bitterness. My favorite type. It's good, I want to drink it again.

The last area where we could see the Chichibu Mountains, Mount Asama, Mount Haruna, Mount Akagi (and the snow-capped Tanigawa Mountains in the background) was truly scenic. It was a great way to end my trip to Gunma, and I couldn't resist eating some Jyoshu barley pork cutlets with a side of the view! Lastly, in honor of the menchikatsu, we had "Kanto no Hana" (flower of Kanto), which goes well with meat. Banana and tropical fruit aroma. The palate has a unique touch of lactic acid beverage-type softness and sweet-sourness. However, it is not clingy and gradually becomes clearer, giving it a sense of balance that makes it suitable for eating. It was a beautiful taste, not unlike the earlier "Kwangto"! We will visit again next year with Gunma fever. 🙂↕️

I ordered this because they said the money for this will be donated to the Noto earthquake. It will be hot 🍶. Oh no, there was only one left when I thought this was the Mexicali Tempura. It doesn't feel special, but it's a nice sake that goes perfectly with a meal. It wasn't stingy at all. I can't read the label. It's black, which is what a beginner in calligraphy did.
