Today I got a call out of the blue from a childhood friend and we decided to have a drink at home. It's been about 10 years since we've seen each other. I was going to abstain from drinking this week, but I had no choice 😋.
I opened a bottle of this one to give her something unusual to drink.
It is sweet with a hint of cotton candy and a unique sourness. The lightness of the sake when you finish it off is as one would expect from Kamerei. My childhood friend, who is not familiar with Japanese sake, liked it very much and drank many glasses.
The photo shows Nobutsuna Temple, where we stopped by on the way back from Okazaki Sake Brewery. Nobutsuna Sanada and Masateru Sanada, who were killed in the Battle of Nagashino, are buried there.
It is located just north of Miyajima Sake Shop.
