As predicted, heavy snow today in the morning: ❄️ And the Chuo highway was closed early in the morning 😱. As a high speed commuter, I decided to take a day off in the afternoon and go home on the way down 🚙💨. I had to drive 45km for 5 hours and a half until I arrived home due to the heavy traffic jam on the lower road 😭. I had to drive 45 km for 5 hours and a half to get home 😭 Now, I drank Akabu SNOW EXTRA last week. It has a good balance of sweetness, rice flavor and acidity. And it has a nice little bubbly taste. It's 13%, so it's easy to drink! It went great with the side dish of minced pork cutlets 😆.

February has come early! January is over in the blink of an eye! I can't seem to finish my work 🤣 I mean, they just keep popping up one after another🤣. I can't do it 🤣 I have to drink now. So this is my first time at Mori no Kuma-san! I've been drinking for a while now 🤣. Slightly dry, juicy, sweet and gassy. It has a good rice flavor. And it has a nice sharpness! Morinokuma-san is the best 😆!

I had this at the end of last year and it was so good! Repeat! I found it sitting in the fridge at my favorite liquor store the other day and immediately decided to take it home 😆. Sake brewed in white wine barrels! Almost like white wine! If someone told me it was white wine and served it to me, I would think so! Even my wife raves about it: ❣️ I wish it would become a regular item!

I'm totally addicted to Yamazan! This time I bought a bottle of Kinmon-Nishiki Unfiltered Nama ✨. Yamazan is back for a second year, how does it taste? ⁉️ Fruity aroma 🥰. Soft sweetness and gentle acidity, followed by spiciness and bitterness. Not too sweet, good on its own or as a food sake😍. Yamasan is so good I bought some at my favorite liquor store today 😆.

Nice sweetness, apple-like texture on the tongue Dry and finely carbonated And the umami of orikarami and the acidity that is typical of Shinsei! It's the best ✨! Gin Kame following the Kin Kame we drank the other day: ❗️ This is already my 3rd bottle of Shinshu Kamerei since the beginning of the year✨ I'm indulging myself 😆. I remember the impression of Ginkame which I drank before was rich sweet flavor. However, the Ginkame I drank this time was softer and sweeter. Like the Ginkame we drank the other day, the balance of sweetness, umami, and acidity is too wonderful! Finished with a good amount of gas and some bitterness 🥰. On the second day, it became even more delicious with more sweetness and umami! The third one is the niboshi ramen in homemade soup 🍜. We made the soup with dried sardines that were purified by the priests of Suwa-taisha Shrine! Thank you very much!

Following the Kuroryu Shizuku that we drank on New Year's Day, we had another sake, Zhuyin, which takeshon-san gave us! Jikon's family has been having a "takeshon festival" since New Year's ✨. Thank you takeshon-san for everything 🙇‍♂️ The taste is sweet and tasty, with no unpleasant taste. It has a good balance of moderate acidity, bitterness and spiciness. I can't tell the detailed specs from the label, but it's a pretty good sake! It's really delicious 😋. Takeshon-san told me about a good one: 🙇‍♂️

Kinkame ❗️🐢 I opened a nice one to cheer me up as I have to work the next day 😆. Kinkame had been aluzome until last term. This term it was upgraded to Junmai Daiginjo ⤴️ And the price went up too 😂. I felt that Ginkame was better than Kinkame, but how is the taste of Jun-Daikinjyo Kinkame ⁉️ It's less sweet than the Jungin Kinmonniki we had at the end of the year, but the sweetness and acidity are nicely integrated 🥰. Very elegant finish! As expected of a pre-sake ✨ it's delicious 😋. If it was still Aruzoe Kinkame, I thought I wouldn't have to buy it anymore, but if I have a chance to buy Jundai Kame-chan, I have to buy it 😆.

Shinshu Kamerei from New Year's Day again this year: ❗️ The shipping date says January 2023, which means it has been aged for exactly one year! It's unfiltered, but it doesn't sag at all even if it's been left for a year! Of course, it is stored in a refrigerator. The taste is super sweet and juicy 🥰. It's even sweeter ✨. It's just so good 👍 Shinshu Kamerei Unfiltered Nama is more sweet if you let it sit for a while: ☝️ I think there is 😉.

Snoclet bought last winter. I've had it sitting in the fridge for a while. I mean, I totally forgot it was there 😆. I guess I let it sit too long, because as soon as I opened the bottle, the cork went 💦 and it started to squirt out of the bottle 🫧. The bottle started to overflow 🫧. Suddenly about a third of the bottle is gone 🤣. This is actually my first time drinking Snoqualmie. Sparkling sake because I let it sit for a while. It's like the Shichiken Sparkling I drank earlier is even sweeter and darker! It's so delicious 🥰. What a waste of time 😭 I'll buy it again ✨

New Year's Toast 🥂. Shichiken Sparkling Soranosai✨ I drank Yamano Kasumi at the end of the year and it has more sweetness compared to the dry Yamano Kasumi 🥰. The sweetness is soft, but the flavor and dryness are also very good 😋. It was a big hit with my family! Of course, it was immediately sold out 😆.

Last post of the year! Sieg Jiak Jiak! Finally, I'm out of the past drinking! Tonight I drank Jikkyo Nabari, which Rigel-san gave me! Thank you Rigel for always giving us good stuff 🙇‍♂️ I've had a few bottles of Jikin so far, and it's a beautiful and elegant combination of sweet, sour, bitter, spicy and umami! Finally surpassed Shinmasa as the brand with the most check-ins in my check-ins 😆. So, this is Tanada Rice Hitogokochi Unfiltered Nama! This one has been aged for more than half a year! Sweet and juicy! I'll have to get it next year!
