I was impressed with the new Shichiken sake I drank just a year ago. I have purchased it again this year 🍶.
It was tasty and cosmetically pleasing, but my sense is that I was not as impressed as I was when I drank it last year. I think it is probably a matter of my senses (physical condition and influence of other brands I drank most recently) rather than the sake itself😇.

The aroma reminds me of green apples, and the mouthfeel is smooth. However, this year I found it to be a bit sharp and strong in an alcoholic way. I would have preferred a more rounded impression.

I love Shichiken ☺️ Nama-sake is clearer and fresher, thanks in part to the delicious water. It has a nice smooth finish and I can't stop myself from having another glass. I wonder if it's ok to pay 1650 yen for a four-pack of this delicious sake 🥹.

I stopped by the sake brewery during my trip to Yamanashi❗️
There were other limited editions from the brewery, but I wanted something sweet, so I bought this one, too, as there are only a few stores that sell it: ❗️It's my first time to Nanaken, and I'm looking forward to it: ❗️
Let's start with the aroma 🍶.
It has a sweetness like pear and strawberry that goes through you smoothly, and it has a delicious and promising taste without any alciness 😆.
Now for a sip: ❗️🍶
It has a sharp Daiginjo-like feel and a very well-balanced sweetness. It's very well-balanced sweetness! The tingling sensation and slight bitterness afterwards invites refills and makes me want to drink more...I thought! I think this will be one of my favorite bottles 🥴.

I drank it the other day and enjoyed it so much that I bought it in a bottle. Fruity and sweet, this is right up my alley. I don't get a chance to drink much sake from Yamanashi Prefecture, but this sake is fantastic. It is a draft sake, so it is not sold all year round. Too bad.
