I saw this one at a store I sometimes visit and have been curious about it for a long time. I tried Kanenaka, a sake made by Nakajimaya in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The label is very cool. The manager recommended this sake, and it won a prize at a competition in Paris, so I opened the bottle with high expectations. The first saké was cold and the first saké was, "Hmmm? It has a strong unique flavor... It's a bit peculiar because it's a sake brewed from a traditional sake brewery... It's not a good match for me... I think it would be better to warm it up 🤔. I opened it for 2 days and drank it.... It has some kind of sweetness, and it's indescribably rich and delicious 😳. This is what I mean when I say that the taste opens up. It's not for everyone by any means, but I thought it was a good sake with a sense of the creator's commitment. Thank you for the treat 🙏.

I heard that the hiragana "Mimuro-sugi" was selling so well that production could not keep up, and that the kanji "samorosugi" might run out 😢, so I got a bottle of kirishin of samorosugi that I had wanted to try once. I got a bottle of "Kirishin," which I had been wanting to try. I thought it would be very dry, but when I drank it, it had a fruity and umami taste like melon🍈, and then it just snapped 🤩I wonder if this is what modern dry sake means, it was just delicious❣️It is indeed a sake from Imanishi😋. I should have bought a bigger bottle. It ran out quickly😇 Hiragana Mimuro is great, but I hope they keep making this kind of sake too 😐.

Got it again this year! A summer staple, the blue demon slash👹 of the spring deer! I've been looking forward to it 😙♪ I've been drinking it every year for about 10 years now 😁. It says it's super dry, but maybe because it's hot, the dryness is just right and refreshing 😆. It has a slightly acidic flavor that is unique to the sake yeast, and it goes well with all kinds of food, even without food 👍. We enjoyed it this year, too. I hope all the breweries, distributors, and restaurants are doing well in the face of the Corona disaster 🙇.

I'm not a nice person by any means, but I love cats and sake😻 This time I opened this bottle 🍾 with the desire to go to the beach 🏖. This is my first time to drink a cat label and it's just as refreshing and sweet as I imagined it would be 😊. It has a well-balanced mouthfeel that can be enjoyed in a gulp, just like a summer sake, and it is indeed the 3rd best sake in Miyagi Prefecture 👏. The label healed my heart, which was weakened by the Corona disaster and the heat, and the taste healed me 🤤.

Gunma really has a lot of good sake 😊. I've never been there, but... This is my first visit to Machida Sake Brewery, and it does not disappoint, it is so good that it soothes my fatigue 😋. Fruity, sharp, sweet and tasty, with a good balance that can be enjoyed in any season 😆. I can't stop drinking it once I start, it's a badass sake ∀≧≦* =3 I'd like to visit Gunma someday...(°▽°)

I wanted to drink Fukuoka's Hohokekyo A local store started carrying it, so I bought it right away 😆. I started with the summer sake Inabikari, which has a fresh melon-like fruitiness and flavor 😋. It has a unique taste that is different from other fruity sakes. It's also refreshing and easy to drink, just like a summer sake 😙. I can't wait to try the other Uguisu as well!

The date has already changed, but July 7 is Yeast No. 7 Day, so we opened this bottle 🍾. It's been a long time since I've had Masumi. My favorite restaurant in Tawaramoto newly started to carry it and recommended it to me, so I decided to try it for the first time. The first sip was clean and refreshing like Masumi❣️and then a hint of muscat and gentle acidity😋. It is a delicious sake that can be drunk smoothly even in summer. I enjoyed it with sardines simmered with ginger👍 Viva summer sake 🏝 Cheers❣️

I managed to get it again this year 😆Sunburst❣️ The 🌞oh sun TV symbol on the back label is the same as last year 😁. A slight schwarziness when just opened and a mild and pleasant acidity even though it's called a burst 😋. Holy crap, I love this feeling! As time goes by, the sweetness also comes out, which is also good👍 In summer, I always go for beer, but I can't stop drinking sake because of this kind of sake 🤭.

It's been a while since I've had a Shinshu Kunisake, and this is my third bottle this year 😍 Sogape. This time it is Lianaturel. It will be made with Miyamanishiki, a pesticide-free Nishiki grown by Ms. Takou. The previous two bottles were with #6 yeast, but this one is a mixed fermentation of #1-6 yeast. Amazing😳I wonder how she made it? I was expecting a complex taste, but it's simply juicy and delicious❣️. It's even more winey than numerosis. Silky, fresh and sweet. It's a one-of-a-kind taste 😋😋. Is wine making really your main business? I'm wondering 🤔. It's not the level of making wine on a lark. I'm so impressed 🙇.

First Yamanashi sake ❣️ after my debut at Sake no Wa! I got the summer sake from Tang 😋. The label was refreshing and quite soppy😍. The taste is also refreshing 🏝. It tastes like melon🍈? Fruity, smooth, full and light, perfect for this time of the year 😆. This one will be available in no time at all. It's been a long time since I've tasted it, and it's as good as it should be.

The first Toyoshu in a long time is a pure rice sake brewed with the Yamanokami yeast derived from sasayuri (a kind of lily of the valley) that blooms in the sacred grounds of the Ogami Shrine, a sacred place for sake. If you are a sake drinker in Nara, you must try this 😁. Perhaps it was because I was used to light and fruity junmai sake, but it was alcoholic, not too sweet, and had a firm mouthfeel. But it has a modern feel and is easy to drink. Yamano kami yeast was surprisingly not peculiar 🤔. Thank you for the food 🙏. I think I'll go visit Ookami shrine ⛩ again.

Since it's June, another sake named after yeast #6 ☝️. Our Nara sake, Kaze no Mori ALPHA6😋. What happens when that Kaze no Mori is brewed with Shinsei yeast? As you can see from the reviews, it is just as delicious as you would expect! It has a fruitiness from the aroma, and while it has a dryness that is typical of Kaze no Mori, the sweetness and acidity are well balanced, which is similar to Shinsei. It goes perfectly with Akitsuho🙆 It's hard to find even locally, but I would definitely like to repeat this bottle👍.

This is a test brew from Motosaka Sake Brewery in Mie Prefecture, known for its sake shop Hachibei. I bought it because of its name and label. Most of the specs are undisclosed 🫤 except that it uses a Mie Prefecture yeast called MLA-12 and has a low alcohol content of 14. I drank it to see what it tasted like and found it to be as light and refreshing as I had imagined, with a moderate sweetness and mild acidity and a well-balanced umami that spread on the palate, perfect for this season 😍ukiki 🐒🐒. The wine-like mouthfeel makes it easy to drink, even for those who don't like sake. However, it is a test brew, so I wonder if there will be a chance to see it next time 🥲.

Caught my first beetle of the year on the work premises the other night during the night shift! I got a great one 😆 (👈Go ahead and do your job!) I opened a bottle of this beer at the end of the night shift, as I did last year 🍾, thinking that it was already that season.... It's been a while since I've had a Sentori, but the acidity is still amazing❣️. The first time I opened the bottle, the acidity was ahead of the others. As the temperature rises, the sweetness comes out and it's delicious 😋. We are happy to enjoy another summer of Kabutomushi with everyone at Sake-no-wa 😊Cheers❣️

June 6❣️I guess everyone is drinking 😁. I also had my first No.6 on this day 🥂♪ I've never had sake in a wine glass before, but I'm convinced this is the first time for me to drink sake in a wine glass. The muscatti aroma spread and the taste was so fruity that if I drank it blind, I could have mistaken it for a fruit wine 😳❗️. The sweetness, umami, and acidity are perfectly balanced, and the smoothness of the taste is great ❤️. Rather than pairing it with food, I'd rather enjoy it by itself. This sake is amazing after all. It's more like a drink called No.6 than a sake 😭. I wonder what S or X tastes like⁉️but I'm happy with R😇 You said this taste good, so June 6 is Shinsei anniversary. May we drink on this day again next year 🙏.

Nara's summer sake❣️ This is a summer version of Hyakurakumon, a famous sake of Gosho along with Kaze no Mori and Shinomine, made with rice outside the standard range and labeled on the back 😋. It looks cool and smells like melon 🍈. Refreshing, mellow, mildly dry ❣️. It has a nice sharpness and is easy to drink 😋😋. It's a jungin spec, but at 1,300 yen for a four-pack, it's easy on the wallet 😁Gozaimasu 😁Gozaimasu 😁Gozaimasu 🙏.

Dansan, located in Sakurai, Nara, is where Emperor Nakataio and Nakatomi Kamatari, known for the Taika Reformation, are said to have planned their coup d'etat. Dansan Shrine⛩ in the mountains is visited by many worshippers as the clan deity of the Fujiwara clan and a famous autumnal foliage viewing spot🍁. At the foot of Mt. Danzan, the Nishiuchi Sake Brewery brews a sake called Danzan. This was the first time for me to drink this sake, as well as the first time for me to drink kijoshu, but it has a color similar to that of Shaoxing sake, is sweet and rich as one would expect, and has a unique flavor. It is a perfect dessert sake. This is a sake to be enjoyed after a meal. Danshan is rarely seen in the prefecture, but I would like to try it again 😋.

Kochi Sake Double Shot❣️ Bunka Jin's Summer Jungin 🏝 which I missed out on last year because it was sold out. A refreshingly sweet and refreshing change from the south 😍. It's a cider, isn't it? It's just like a summer sake. The label is cute too, no wonder it's so popular 😆.

We have two minamis in our office, and they are in the same section, so when I call, I often get the wrong person💦. That aside, this time it was Jungin from Kochi Sake Minami. Dry fruity with a bit of acidity. Very drinkable👍. It can be drunk with a wide range of dishes, not just fish 😋. It was a good sake with a reasonable cost❣️.
