Wakayama "Kuroshi Junmai Sake" 🍶. This is the second time we have welcomed Kuroshi to our home 🐮/ The last time was a junmai sake from Omachi, but we wanted to try a standard junmai sake? I wanted to try this Junmai sake. At room temperature...the light yellow color makes me excited⤴️ mellow aroma made me put my face too close to the glass and for some reason it sunk into my eyes🤣Sweetness and a strong umami spicy taste spread to my mouth😍. Typhoon 🌀 was approaching that day, so I took a break from gym activities... 😌Snacks were canned sardines, firm tofu, and a small plate of leftover ratatouille... On another full moon🌕️ day, I used cheese crackers given to me by a friend as the moon... dark cheese and dark sake went well together👍

Saitama "Teisho THE SAITAMA" 🍶. Impressive label with Saitama pose👌. I was inspired by the movie "Sho de Saitama - From Lake Biwa with Love" in February this year 🤣I bought this sake! Chilled a little... I felt the full flavor and the strength of the 18% alcohol content! I enjoyed it with sashimi on the first day and with my friend's homemade bread on another day 😋. The fourth picture shows the lobby of the cinema! While drinking Teisho, I suddenly thought of Pon-chan 😊.

Naohiko Noguchi Laboratory Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake" 🍶, Komatsu City, Ishikawa, Japan Rice / Gohyakumangoku This is my first time to try this sake from Naohiko Noguchi Institute 🎉. I've always wanted to try it! I was wondering about Honjozo and Junmai 🤔 at the liquor store, but this time I bought Junmai sake! It had a good balance of umami, acidity, and spiciness, and was very satisfying to drink👍.

Tenranzan Tachiharu Asa Shibori Junmai Ginjo Nama Genjo-shu 🍶. I had a reservation, so when I went to the liquor store on the afternoon of Risshun, other customers came to pick up their bottles one after another! It was fresh with a hint of acidity! It was crisp with almost no sweetness ✨. Thankful to be able to drink freshly pressed sake again this year... With Fried Chicken Halami I saw chicken halami at the supermarket and bought it for the first time 🐔The texture was moky and delicious 😋.

This is my first post of the year 😀. Sake for New Year's Day Collage Junmai Ginjo 🍶. My aunt in Fukushima makes rice cakes and sends them to me at the end of every year 😊. This year, along with leafy mandarins 🍊 and Koriyama's thin-skinned buns, I got Collage 👀!!!! I never thought I'd be able to drink it at home... It's a beautiful taste that sinks in 😌I'm so glad my aunt felt the same way and drank it with care✨.

The sake I chose to end the year with is... Masumi Arabashiri barrel sake. I've been drinking sake from time to time, but it's been a while since I've had a sakéwa 💦. At the end of last year, I saw a nice barrel of Masumi at a liquor store, and I wasn't sure whether to buy it or not. It has a slight woody aroma, juicy sweet and sour taste, followed by a slight spiciness that goes down your throat quickly and deliciously 😊. Red 🟥⬜ is now "Ruby's Ring" 🟥⬜. Well, I wish you all a very Happy New Year✨!

〜Sake of the summer Kikusen Junmai-shu Unfinished Nama-shu from Fukaya City, Saitama 🍶. Complex taste with acidity and umami, 18% alcohol by volume. I thought the lingering taste was similar to the "Shunshin Junmai-shu" from Ishikawa, which I drank in April 🥰. I was talking about o-hagi with a friend at the gym and I got a craving for them, so I stopped by the supermarket on my way home and bought some 🛒.

〜Summer Sake Junmai-shu Hanpukai Yizishin Junmai-shu" (Mihara city, Hiroshima) Rice / Koimomiji, Akisakari 　　　　Medium-ripened Shin-Senbon (Hiroshima Prefecture) Yeast / In-house yeast Nakate Shin-Senbon" is read as "Nakate Shin-Senbon", right? It is famous for "Taikan's favorite sake". It is made with super soft water and has a mild mouthfeel and a nice acidity✨. According to the pamphlet, "It goes very well with seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, especially octopus, which is Mihara's specialty. It is best served cold with light dishes such as octopus sashimi and carpaccio, or warmed with strong flavored dishes such as octopus fried in a broth with umani sauce. Since we could not find any seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, we enjoyed it with hamo (pike conger) and eel liver stew 😋.

It's been a while since I've posted 😊 〜Sake I drank in the summer... Aichi "Chochin 2023 SUMMER JUN" 🍶. Ordered my first brand from the sake menu on the wall! It was a crisp and refreshing summery sake that went well with the meal. My recent boom is to go to other gyms once or twice a month, refresh myself at the spa 🚿, have a drink in the city, and come back home 🏮. It's so refreshing to be in a different environment than the gym I usually go to ✨. I was hungry after the workout, so I finished with grilled onigiri 😉.

My grandmother's new tray...😇 In February, Niida Honke "Shizenshuu Kanatsurae" purchased at Koriyama station on the way home from a funeral 🙏. I've always wanted to try "Kanatsurae", I've never seen this size before (I thought it was a single bottle but it's 160ml 👀!). I like the mild, milky acidity and nuttiness 🥰. It's hot 💦 but since I'm here, I'll warm it up...♨♨ It was more light and had a nice cheesy flavor 😊.

Joetsu City, Niigata "Iwaho" Ikuhashi-zukuri There are three reasons why I bought it... I've never seen this brand before 😲. I was curious about Niigata's "Namahoshizukuri" 👀. The strong script 😅 that says "take me home with you". I see that it is brewed by Niigata Daiichi Sake Brewery, which brews "Yamama". They had it next to the Yamama at the store. You can feel the extraordinary passion in the brand name with the brewer's name on it 💪. Sweet umami and the acidity of the sake's yeast yeast yeast The sense of maturity that rises from the back of the throat and passes through the nose is irresistible! 😆 It's an addictive taste ✨ With bonito tataki poke 😋.

Junmai-shu Hanpukai Niigata "Echigo Tsurukame Junmai-shu" 🍶. Rice / Koji rice: Yamadanishiki 　　　　Kake rice: Koshi Ibuki Yeast／Wine yeast A friend of mine gave me some homemade bread. I thought this wine yeast brewed sake might go well with the bread ✨... 🥂. Sweet and sour and cute 💕 It was soft and slice easily 🥰. The alcohol content of 12 degrees makes it easy to drink and I was drinking it in the light of Saturday evening and fell asleep with a nice cozy sleep 🤩. The boiled egg was an arrocana egg sold in the produce section of the supermarket 🐣It is said to be called "the chicken that brings happiness" in its native South America, with a beautiful blue shell ✨The yolk was bigger and richer than most eggs😋.

Nara "Kaze no Mori Rouha Kaze 807" 🍶. I haven't had Kaze no Mori since Akitsuho 657. Tsuyu Hakaze 🌾. At first I didn't know how to read 💦. I wondered how to describe the complex flavor... and as I sipped it, I had the illusion of getting lost in the deep forest on the label 😅. Aromatic aroma, gassy and sweet flavor rushing in, astringent and alcoholic 😊.... The website says "Please take your time and enjoy it once the carbon dioxide has dissipated"! I would like to compare different types of Kaze no Mori with different rice and polish ✨.

On June 25, I went to Kenji Sawada's 75th birthday concert! I wanted to have a toast somewhere on the way home, but it was getting late, so I thought I'd try something special with alcohol I had at home 🤔, and I chose this... I chose Nara "Okura 2021 Yamahai Special Junmai Omachi 70 Naokumi" 🍶! Slightly yellow in color The acidity and matured flavor of Yamahai overlapped with Julie's singing voice, which increased its maturity, and I could get drunk comfortably 😌. I saw Julie happily singing "raw barley, raw rice, raw egg" in the boys and girls choir corner of "8 O'clock! On the day of the concert, there was a live broadcast on WOWOW! The audience was on their feet when Julie, dressed in her 🐯 costume, began to perform "Seaside Bound" with the members of The Tigers! She also talked about her feelings leading up to this day, after a last minute cancellation of a concert at the same venue a few years ago... Her singing voice was not blurred even when she ran from one end of the stage to the other 👀!!!! It was amazing✨!

Junmai Sake Hanpukai Shirataki Junmai Ginjo" from Yuzawamachi, Minamiuonuma-gun, Niigata 🍶. Rice / Koji rice: Gohyakumangoku 　　　　Kake Rice: Koshi Ibuki Yeast/Kyokai 1801 It is said to go well with sashimi, tempura, simmered fish, zaru soba, and white fish carpaccio. The other day, I had sashimi of Japanese horseradish outside and thought it was delicious but forgot to take a picture of it, so I bought it at the supermarket because it was just on sale 🛒. First as sashimi and then as carpaccio 🐟. The taste was beautiful, as if you were drinking clean snow water, just as the young master brewer said it would be ✨. Shirotaki Shuzo is the brewery that brews "Kozen Nyosui"! The third photo is a sweet shrimp fried & assorted tempura 🍤 directly from Niigata that I bought at Kadokami Gyorui on another day 😋.

I'm going to make Father's Day a day to think of my father by drinking Hirotogawa...😇 Last year we started with Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki, a sudden change of pace ⚾, so this year we're having the standard Special Junmai 🍶. We have been drinking outside, but this is the first time to have it at home! I wanted to drink it at room temperature first, so I kept it in a cool dark place instead of putting it in the fridge after I bought it! The mild flavor spreads! As everyone at Sake-no-Wa says, it becomes even more delicious and smooth when heated to lukewarm, which makes me happy 😌. When I was a child, my mother used to make my father's favorite dish, "frozen tofu with chives and egg" when she received a package from my grandmother in Fukushima that contained straw-woven frozen tofu. Since frozen tofu is not available in my area, I tried to make it with dried tofu instead. I hope it turned out delicious! Dad 😉. The 4th picture is of the recently opened Nabeshima and the "Special Junmai Gathering" 😆/ Comparing the two, I felt the Nabeshima was drier! Both were delicious ✨

I'm so happy to "hit" the avocado 🥑 that I cut into pieces 😆/ I would love to pair this beautiful green with Nabeshima's Green Label! ✨ So here it is Saga "Nabeshima Special Junmai Sake" 🍶. I was watching Sake no Wa and it was imprinted in my brain that "Nabeshima's 🟩 is delicious"... I wanted to try it 😉. I was horrified when I saw the "beware of opening the cork" and the cork blew out 😱I held it down firmly and opened the cork, and there was a dull thud! It's not a fresh sake, but it's fine 😁. Fruity aroma After the sweetness and acidity, it was pleasantly sharp with a touch of gas and spiciness 🥰. Day 2, slight meloniness The fourth photo is our green 🌿. It's the prickly pear next to our front door 😊.

Second drink outside 🍶🍶. Akita "Kariho Kuurazeki natural yeast brewed Junmai Nama sake As the label on the back says, "Enjoy the wild and deep flavors created by the kurage yeast", the taste was complex and delicious 🥰. The "home-made aged kasumi (sea squirt) and lightly-pickled gyabetsu (dried young cabbage)" was served with the "deep-fried fugu (blowfish)" which took some time to be prepared. Finish with a hearty bowl of rice topped with "kama-age shirasu grated radish and grated white radish" 😋! It was fun to talk about sake with the owner, who said he likes "Tamagawa" and "Kurogyu" (black beef) 😊.

I bought this at Cardi's. Takasago Shuzo "Junmai Sake ZuZOOt Asahiyama" 🍶. According to the brewery's website Among several cups of sake featuring the animals of Asahiyama Zoo, this one has a savanna (tropical grassland) theme 🦒. The snacks are animal-related 😁. LAWSON "Kara-Age-Kun" is now 1.4 times heavier 👀! De Karaage-kun" ✨. The package of "Dekaraage-kun" is more prominent when it is placed with a cup of sake 😅... The illustrations of the animals are cute, but it has a robust taste with a rich rice flavor that makes it very drinkable 🥰.
