Sake rice Yamadanishiki
Polishing ratio 50%.
The mouthfeel is firm, slightly sweet and fruity. The aftertaste is umami, acidity, and astringency.
Among Junmai Ginjos
Sake with a sharp taste
Even when placed in the mouth
It has a slightly carbonated taste, but
but it does not taste like rice.
It disappears nicely after drinking.
It quickly flies away.
It reminds me of a Japanese nightingale
Busy week at work this week...working overtime 😭
Decided my screaming body needed some healing water, so.......opened a bottle of the classic Uguisu sake from the garden 🍶.
Upon opening the bottle, you can smell the soft and fluffy aroma 😌.
The first sip is crisp, dry, and dry...it's almost like a Japanese version of Asahi's "Sou Fat Dry" 🤔.
However, it's not a draft or sparkling 🫧 so it's refreshing 💧.
I guess it's positioned as a food drink 😃.
It's not strong in character, it doesn't interfere with the food, and it tastes like ......, so it's not too bad or too bad 😓.
I'm drinking it by itself, so it might be a waste... I think it's great for izakaya menu 🏮 like yakitori 👌
In general, it has a traditional sake feel 🍶 and a dry, light taste ❗️
ps. not for those who want something fruity😅.
Day 2🗒️
No change in taste...on the contrary, it gives the impression of a stable dry taste 😁.
Fukuoka Prefecture Uguisu in the garden Junmai Daiginjo Hanabie
My favorite "Uguisu" (Japanese bush warbler)
Junmai Daiginjo Hanabie in early spring!
From the aroma, the acidity, sweetness and umami are well balanced.
First time! Fukuoka Prefecture! Uguisu in the garden.
Cream soda type. Pear and a bitter aftertaste. A little gas lingers. Refreshing sweet & sour.
