Purchased at a liquor store
Last Saturday we went to Nara for the Toka Festival!
I hadn't been to Nara since the Corona disaster, so it was the first time in 5 years 😂There were a lot of people there because it was a holiday, but I'm glad it didn't rain 🔥.
I chose Toyoshuku as my Nara sake this time because I've seen it so often that I've never tried it!
Cold sake
Slightly yellowish
Deep ginjo aroma
Good width and volume.
Astringent aftertaste with a touch of alcohol
Fades quickly and has a modest aftertaste.
Standing drink in Yamato Saidaiji station.
It seems to be directly managed by the brewery, which is fun.
Junmai sake is reasonably priced at 350 yen for 120 ml.
The sake has a nice aroma and a delicious taste that presses down on the tongue.
It also has a nice, clean aftertaste.
Personal Score 84
Yome bought this sake to purify the car after purchasing it. It was used a little for the car. The rest I drink with my father!
It has a nice sharpness. The sweetness is moderate. It was my favorite sake.

Nara Toyosawa Sake Brewery in Nara City
Too many brands such as Toyoshuku, Kisenju, Gisuke, Ken, etc. 😅
I think the brand power would be better if they were all together rather than dispersed 🤔.
Polishing ratio 55%, Aizan 16%, Sake degree -1, Acidity 1.5, 1801 yeast
1950 yen
Fruity and sweet with a little bitterness in the second half.
It is like THE Aizan!
Reasonably priced for the use of Aizan
Houzuku Junmai Ginjo Osaka-Kansai Expo Commemorative [Nara Toyosawa Shuzo, Nara Pref.
Slightly pear-like mouthfeel with a hint of sweetness. Sense of maturity. A lingering bitterness and a sense of alcohol.
Ingredients: rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic)
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Alcohol content: 15
The last sake was a brand I had never had before. It is from a brewery in Nara, but it has a spicy and umami taste with a strong rice flavor, and was perfect for the red ginger tempura we had at an izakaya in Dotonbori.
This was also served at an izakaya (Japanese-style bar) I entered on my trip. It is a pure rice made from 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Nara Prefecture. It has a crisp mouthfeel with a sour taste.
I headed to Kintetsu Namba station.
I bought some turmeric here. I'm still drinking!
The second restaurant was "Toyoshuku" located inside the station.
The owner recommended this one.
It has a bonded aroma.
We had it with their special sakekasu-stewed rice cake.
It was very delicious!
Good evening, Jay & Nobby!
Turmeric is the most powerful~.
You will wake up the next day as if nothing happened.
If possible, I would even like to introduce turmeric as a brand name of sakekawa!

I bought this sake at the brewery when I participated in a Kintetsu Train walking project earlier this year and walked from Saidaiji Temple in Nara to Nara Toyosawa Sake Brewery near Obikaiji Temple via the Heijo Palace ruins 😀.
It's a ginjo-shu, so even the nigori has a pretty gorgeous aroma 😀.
As you can see, the nigori is quite robust, so it has a sweet sake-like feel on the palate, but you can still taste the robust rice flavor 😀.
We compared it with Senzuke's light nigori, but the taste and atmosphere were completely different, and it was a good comparison that made us realize that there is a wide range of nigori sake.
Good morning, Yasubeyesan 🌞I had a bottle of "Ken" brewed by this brewery before and I got the impression that it is a delicious sake with a solid core 🍶It is hard to find it for sale 😅.
Good evening, Yasbay 😃.
Standing out like it has a solid flavor! When one sake with a different atmosphere is added, it makes the drinking comparison even more fun 🤗.
Good evening, Nao888!
Nara Toyosawa's sake seems to be quite popular and easy to buy in Nara 🤣.
There are standing drinking stands of the brewery in Saidaiji and Tennoji, so you can go there if you just want to have a drink 😇.
Good evening, Jay and Nobby!
It's fun to compare the same nigori-style sake, but the sake sold at the brewery contains the brewer's thoughts on the creation of the sake, so it's hard to believe that it's the same nigori-style sake 😇.
