It has been a while since I have had a bottle of Goshosen Genzake. The alcohol content of 20 degrees is very high for sake lovers. The first sip was spicy, but as I drank it, I didn't feel the spiciness anymore! But as I drank it, I didn't feel the spiciness anymore, and it went on and on and on. Of course, it goes well with sashimi, and I think it is a hidden masterpiece of sake that goes well with everything, even fried food. (This is my personal opinion).
I had never had a drink before, not really knowing what a "hara-shu" was, but I was seriously shocked by this drink!
After I put it in my mouth, the taste and aroma were so strong that I thought, "What just happened? I thought, "What just happened?
It is said to go well with rich fish. I think it would be blown away by a blast of wind if I tried it with cold yellowtail or something like that!
Cheese is a good match!
Bought it because there was a Hokuriku sake event at LUCUA in August.
I'm a sucker for the word "limited edition" 😂.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to buy it in the same bottle as the other two.
At room temperature
Aroma like chestnut
Slightly refreshing on the palate
Strong alcohol taste from the mid-palate
Because it is a pure sake and 20 degrees Celsius, you can feel it.
The aftertaste is very sharp.
Goshosen Genjo-shu" is the source of ginjo-shu, which is slowly fermented at low temperature for a long time, using only sake brewing rice that is more expensive than Koshihikari rice.
Purchased at Hokuriku sake event at LUCUA
The top aroma has a classic feel to it. I was told it was dry, but it also has a bit of sweetness, a strong umami, graininess, nuttiness, and complexity. Maybe it's better than I thought it would be.
I think it's a little hard to drink because it's so pungent 😅.
Maybe it's better to drink it on the rocks or with soda 🤔

I was looking forward to drinking this sake because I wanted to drink a rich, high strength sake and it was alky but unpasteurized at 20%.
The aroma was a little strong, but not so much as to be overpowering, but when I drank it, I didn't taste any flavor and didn't detect any alcohol content, so I decided to leave it overnight.
The next day, I checked the label and found that it was 16 degrees Celsius... It was not a pure sake, but I was disappointed because I had high expectations for the sake.
It's not the sake's fault, but the gap between my expectations and the sake itself... I almost wouldn't have chosen the sake myself if it were alsobe watered....
Later I wished I had tried it heated.
The second cup is Goshosen from Kanazawa.
It is a stable cup with a sweet and umami taste of rice 🌾.
It was not as dark and Ishikawa-like as you might imagine. It was also delicious!
