I was making adjustments for the last quadruple post, so please bear with me as I will be posting a mix of stock and real-time for a while 😓.
I had a drink with him just before his birthday 🍶.
Oosawawa Shinshu Secret Sake Hanpukai 2025
The Furuya Brewery, which brews the "Wawa Wawa" that Jay & Nobby and others were drinking before, suffered a fire at the end of last year that destroyed the brewery and their home.
First of all, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies 🛐.
The sake rice that survived the fire was used by the Osawa Brewery, which brews "Meikyojosui" in the same area, and the result is this "Osawa Wawa"!
[A glass.]
The aroma of mellow, green-apple-like rice, the fresh umami that flows smoothly into the mouth, and then the sharp finish with a soft aftertaste and a firm bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue and in the back of the throat.
[Mokkiri.]
Aroma of rice like green apples, soft and fruity sweetness, umami, and underlying bitterness, followed by a soft aftertaste and lingering bitterness that lingers on the tip of the tongue and the back of the throat.
As the temperature rises, the bitterness lessens and the umami increases.
Local horse mackerel sashimi and Ishikawa Hiramasa sashimi.
May we once again brew a sake with the wish that people will be relaxed and at peace with the spirit of harmony ✨.

Good evening, Mr. Jive 😃.
I had no idea that the "Wawa" brewery was in such a mess. I hope it will be restored as soon as possible, but I am impressed by the way the brewery comrades are reaching out and cooperating with each other.

Good evening, Jive 😃.
We ourselves bought it by accident in Nagano, and when we drank it, we were pleasantly surprised by its taste Wawa-san ☺️ We were heartbroken by the news of the fire at the end of last year, but it's great to see the sake brewing community helping each other 🥹We also pray for the revival of the brewery😌.

Hi HinaHanaMama!
I didn't realize the wish behind the inscription until I saw the etiquette on the back, but I hope you will brew this kind feeling again too 🥰.
I'm a partner who often gets submerged in water due to perspiration, so it's also charming that you lost the data 🤣.

Hi Pon-chan, ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
According to the article I read, the brewery was in such shock for 3 months after the fire that they could not think of anything, but with the help of the originally strong horizontal ties within the community, they are gradually showing signs of recovery: ✨️

Hi ma-ki-san!
It seems that the spirit of mutual help in the community is so strong that sake breweries have been sharing rice with each other for a long time, and the breweries are trying to continue sake making in any way possible instead of going out of business.
