The sake was a dry junmai sake with a full rice aroma and a rounded mouthfeel.

[When visiting Marukoma, sashimi made from fresh fish is a must order, and on this day we had both the red and medium fatty tuna, which is highly recommended.

The Yutaka Sake Brewery is located in Sabae City, which feels somewhat familiar to us since Umaiai-san helped them at the Japanese Sake Festival.

The aroma is slightly smoky. It has a sweet and savory taste, with a slight bacon-like flavor.
Even without any favoritism, they make a lot of good sake. They seem to be particular about Gohyakumangoku from Fukui Prefecture.
The level of sake in Fukui Prefecture is also very high, and there is a lot of good sake here.
