Report 1📝 off-line meeting in Sakai, September 2024
We (Mr. pyonpyon, Mr. bouken, Mr. and Mrs. Yasube, Mr. Ofuji, and myself) were invited to the Sakai branch (Mr. Umaumai, Mr. and Mrs. Wakata, and Mr. Maru), with whom we have strong connections in Kansai branch, and we each brought our own drinks and had very valuable drinks at a certain izakaya 🍶.
I was told ⁉️ that I didn't expect such a gathering in Sakai, but I'll go anywhere in Kansai if my schedule allows 🚈💨.
We toasted with a sparkling toast from Uma Uma Uma's 🥂.
It was my first time to try nigori sparkling, but after the first sizzle, I thought the rice flavor was firm, then I felt sweet and sour like apricot and pulled away.
It was more low-alcohol and refreshing than it looked, and I drank it in gulps as I arrived in a sweat 🍾.
Good evening, Mr. Yoohee 😃.
I just went back to ⁉️😳 and came here. But I'm grateful that you wrote so carefully, because it makes me remember 8 months ago with nostalgia 😊 We had a lot of fun 💕.
Good evening, Yoohee 🌑.
Eh, I just went to ⁉️😳I feel the same way 🤣.
Offline bring your own is so much fun 😊I now look forward to it more than any other drinking party 😆.
Drunken drinks and good company is the best 👍
Sabae is famous for Bon, but this Hwasong is also known as a historic sake!
This sake is served cold! It slips smoothly, but is quite classic, afternoon tea-like!
Sake is junmai, even better when heated."
It's a little cold tonight, and this phrase resonates in my head. So I warmed it up for the first time in a while!
Yum! It's delicious! I knew it was designed to be heated! The sweetness increases as the temperature is raised and the acidity does not! It's delicious with a warming flavor!
It's not the same as sweet potato shochu, but the warm and sweet sake reminds me of my hometown!
SAKE POST Item
A ginjo-shu with a strong sweet aroma of rice. It is made from Gohyakumangoku rice produced in Fukui Prefecture and has a yogurt-like sweetness, but it is a refreshing and crisp sake that goes down the throat easily.
I received this from Jive-san at the offline meeting.
Yutaka Sake Brewery in Sabae City, listed as SINCE1753, so it must have been founded in the mid-Edo period🧐.
A little research on Fukui Prefecture around this time revealed that a sumo tournament was held at Obama Hachimangu Shrine.
I will enjoy it while thinking about such history.
Sharp and clear. It is very clear and refreshing.
It went well with kizushi (sushi) (mackerel).
Thank you, Mr. Gyve.
We enjoyed it very much 🙇.
Hi, Maru-san 🌛.
Thank you for your review 😁You're right, kizushi would go well with it 😋.
I was so sorry that I didn't have a souvenir for you when you rushed over to my place when we were together before at the Eel and Rice ✨.
[The 2nd Bishu Competition Grand Tasting (11)
This is the only booth not on the "Jizake Tourism" side, but on the "Bishu Competition" side.
HAKKIN - "HAKKIN ANOTHER".
A fruity aroma with a sour taste, a firm umami taste with a modern sweetness, a sharp finish, and a dry, refreshing aftertaste.
HAKKINO was awarded a gold medal for HAKKINO METHOD LURAL in the sparkling category of the current competition ✨.
The aroma is melon-like with a hint of sweetness.
After the taste, which is mainly rice flavor, it finishes with an alcohol taste that tightens up the taste.
It is neither too bright nor too mild, just the right sake that can be drunk without being overbearing.

At first, we were told that if there was any leftover alcohol, we could take it home...
But we wanted to make a toast with sparkling wine, so we started with a toast with candles brought by Umaisan.
This time, there was no professional to open the bottle, so those who brought their own bottle opened it by themselves.
It was a crowned type, so it took a second to open and then it spurted out 💦.
It tasted sweet and sour, like it wasn't sake!
It tasted like a cider like the one I had at the Japanese Sake Festival.
Hello bouken 😀
Yesterday, I was very impressed by the many sakes I had never had before 😀.
This cider-like sparkling sake was also a first for me, but it was a perfect start for a drinking party😇.
Thank you bouken for your hard work yesterday❗This was really delicious ✨It was hot so the taste soaked up even more ❤😆💕Happening when opening it 😁💨💨 was a fun memory 🎵
Hi bouken 😃
I'm a member of the "Bring Your Own" party in Kansai. Bring your own offline meeting ‼️ and have 🥂 spark for toast 🥂 👍I'm sure there will be a lot of rage under the heading "If there's any alcohol left..." 😆.
Hello bouken😃Thank you so much for yesterday😊Your love for bouken (especially from Yasbaye) was bursting out of you ❤️ This one was really strange, nutty aftertaste from the cider, delicious 😋.
Good evening, bouken-san😄!
Thank you for your hard work at the Sakai Sakai bring-your-own off-line meeting!
I'm glad to hear that it was a drunken party with all the great sake you drooled over and everyone seemed to enjoy talking about it 😊.
We have to be careful with the jetlagged explosive drinks 😁.
Good evening, bouken 🌛.
I knew you were the one who brought in the "Candle, Methode Rural" 😁.
I'm so glad to hear that you gave it a high rating as a "Candle" local ✨.
Maru, thanks for your help the other day 🙋.
It was a 🍎feeling that you could drink it like juice 😋 interesting taste difference with the lees at the bottom 😁.
I'm enjoying the bring off 😆.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby.
We are from the Kansai region 🤣The sparkling wine was prepared by the good Mr. Umaisan 😁.
Yes, as mentioned in Wakata's post, we had a lot of drinks and food, and the scale was not long enough, so we had to extend it quickly 🤣.
Good evening, Mr. Aladdin.
It was a very drunken party in the true sense of the word 🤣.
The drinks that everyone brought were really great and the tension was up↑↑↑😁Is it impossible to open the crown sparkling without spewing? 🤔
Good evening, Mr. Jaive.
We toasted with Fukui sake 🥂.
I drank it at the Japanese sake festival and it was as delicious as ever 😋I got to love Fukui 🥰 from Osaka 😊.
