I went to Wakayama. The purpose was to taste Arakawa peaches. But I don't like peaches 🍑. So I watched while my husband had an expensive parfait at Fujimomoan while sipping tea😅. Next was my time. We had a tasting at the store in front of the Kurogyu warehouse. I had been passing it by because I had an image of the classic taste of Kurogyu that I used to drink and there is a distributor nearby where I can buy it anytime I want. I drank the recommended Hifan. I was told that this sake had won a gold medal🥇 in the Junmai Daiginjo category at 🇫🇷 in France. Polishing ratio 28%. The brewer told us that only one bottle of this sake was released at the contest while it was aged with 100% Yamadanishiki. I did not detect much aroma. The brewer said that with black beef, the aroma would get in the way of the food. He said it was not very harsh. The clear taste seems to go well with any dishes, and the slight acidity was delicious. But the brewer said that this sake is more expensive than the one you can buy yourself, so you have to get it from someone else. The brewer said it is more expensive than buying it yourself 🤣.

I bought it at a supermarket in Kamisuwa. The sake is made by filtering the mash through a coarse cloth and leaving the orii (omission). It has a creamy mouthfeel and is easy to drink. It is easy to drink with a creamy mouthfeel and a refreshing taste.

Purchased at the brewery. Yokobue - nigori sake, fermented in a bottle. It is a cloudy white sake made by mixing roughly strained sake with ori (ori). Before mixing the ori, the sweetness of the sake was a little too much, but once the ori was mixed in, the sake had a soft taste. But after mixing in the ori, it has a soft texture, and I felt like a melon before it ripens. Alcohol content: 15%. Rice polishing ratio 55 100% Miyamanishiki produced in Nagano Prefecture

Purchased at the brewery in front of Gifu Station. The brewery tour was cancelled, but we were able to taste the wine. Alcohol content: 17 to 18 degrees Celsius Water used for brewing: Water from a private well and Nagara River subsoil Rice polishing ratio: 60 The aroma has a fruity ginjo flavor. The crisp and spicy flavor complements food, making it a sake that can be served with anything.

This is a cup of sake from Honkin. I tried it lukewarm. Slightly yellowish color. It has a rich, thick texture, and the sweetness of the arugula is elegant and delicious. If it were not a cup sake, I would drink more. We paired it with Shinshu soba noodles and simmered carp.

I bought it at a supermarket in Kamisuwa. The 180ml is good for tasting and the quantity is good, but It is a pity that I cannot enjoy the change of taste. Fresh fruit aroma, like green apple or LaFrance. The taste is mild and sweet. The crisp aftertaste is delicious on its own and can be served with a wide range of foods.

This is a souvenir from Shizuoka by my son. He bought two bottles of the same one. It was delicious, with a soft mouthfeel and a nice alky sharpness that came later. It is a regular sake, but carefully brewed and perfect for everyday drinking. I drank one gou and had another bottle 😆.

I bought this after tasting it at the brewery that brews Diachiku in Chino City. It has no label on the front 😳it is a raw sake with alkaloids. Every December, locals come to buy this sake. It's been six months so it doesn't have a lot of pizzazz, but they say it's very stable. I first tried it cold. Alcohol content: 20%. The taste is pleasant, with a nettled rice flavor and a hint of sweetness. The spiciness that comes afterward is also nice. On the second day, we served it lukewarm. It was very tasty with a deep sweet flavor spreading through it. It makes you feel refreshed. It went well with the tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce) of wakasagi (smelt) and sea bream that we bought in Suwa. This sake is good with hot pot and 🍢, and I would like to drink it in winter.

Suwa Nine Storehouses Tour, the ninth storehouse The last one we went to was Toshimaya, but we couldn't taste or buy any sake there. I wonder if they had it somewhere 🤔The sake was purchased at a supermarket in Kamisuwa station. I was so impressed by the taste of the Suwa-no-miyazaki and the Suwa-no-miyazaki. It was a gentle tasting amazake. Rice polishing ratio: 65 Alcohol content: 15%. It was soft on the palate, but it felt like it cut through quickly and cleanly. It is difficult to describe 😂. We paired it with simmered kakufu, isobe-fried chikuwa, and konnyaku sashimi that we bought in Gifu.

On the way back from the Suwa Lake Kuzo tour, we stopped in Gifu, my husband's hometown. I was interested in Nihon Izumi near Gifu Station, which I had read about in Hiroshi's review. I heard that the brewery tours are now cancelled due to Corona. We were allowed to taste the sake without any hesitation. I didn't know which one to start with, so I asked for the "Mino no Otoko Sake Oda Nobunaga" that was advertised on the building. I was surprised when I saw the price😳. It had a gorgeous aroma and a rich, tight taste. The aftertaste is refreshing. The dark princess is also soft and delicious. After tasting various kinds of sake, I couldn't taste it 😂I bought a mouth-watering raw sake. It was a nice brewery that brews all year round in the basement of a building using water from the clear Nagara River. I made a quick trip to the brewery in Imi where I had a recent drink. Unfortunately, the store was closed and we could not buy any sake made at the brewery, but we were glad we were able to take pictures. My husband, who is a Beatles fan, liked Ibi Road. We will plan to stop by next time 😊.

Eighth brewery in the Suwa Nine Breweries Tour We were finally able to visit the Honkin brewery. There were no visitors, so we were able to hear the president talk about sake tax, sake brewing, and many other topics. The president was in a good mood, saying, "It was a good venting experience for me. He was in a good mood. I was going to buy "Honkin Suwa," but when I tasted it, it was too clear and delicious. But when I tasted it, it was too clear and I couldn't feel the umami right away. It might be different if I drink more. I tasted it and liked the sweet and tasty and firm acidity that I like, so I bought it. I will enjoy drinking it at home slowly. I have completed the tour of the five Suwa breweries. My husband, who doesn't taste-test, got a cup of sake. For some reason, only Maihime was bottled. Here are the glasses, stamp card, and drawstring bag we received. I got a navy blue one.

I was unable to visit the Honkin brewery, so I bought this sake at Seiyu in Okaya City and drank it at the hotel. I was thrilled to be able to easily buy a sake that I could not normally afford. It tastes so good that I can't believe it's a honjozo. Karakuchi The sweetness is elegant. The sweetness is elegant. It tastes luxurious for everyday drinking. Suwa Nine Storehouses Tour: 7th Storehouse The name of this brewery comes from the heroine of the tragic love story of a courtesan named "Yokobue. I forgot to take a picture of the sake we tasted 😂. One of my favorite sakes was Yokobue, Shirakaba Nishiki. It had a gorgeous apple-like aroma and a sourness in harmony with a good sweetness that I don't often experience. The plum wine was made with sake and was so delicious that I bought it as a souvenir for my daughter. The brewery in front of Yokobue is Sake Nunoya Honkin Sake Brewery, but it was closed from noon. I heard it was for training, but I was shocked.

Suwa Nine Storehouses Tour: Sixth Storehouse The four kura in Kamisuwa, except for Masumi, are attached to each other and are easy to visit. You will have to do something on your own because there is no water available at the kura. The tasting of Maihime was also enjoyable because no one was there. We were lucky that we didn't overlap with other visitors because it was after noon. I was also allowed to taste the light nigori. I liked the apple-like sweetness and pleasant bitterness, and bought it. It was my first time to try Maihime, but I liked many of the flavors.

Fifth of the Nine Suwa Storehouses Tour We planned to visit four Suwa shrines in the morning and the remaining four breweries in Kami-Suwa and Kamiwatari in the afternoon. This is the first time to visit Reito. This brewery also offers beer tasting. I only tasted sake, but I bought a bottle of beer with seven spices. I bought a beer. I tasted the "Dry Goku" sake, which I liked for its crisp taste. I was going to buy it later but forgot because it was too heavy to carry around 😂.

Suwa Nine Breweries Tour: 4th Brewery I wanted to visit the latter four breweries before Kamisuwa's five breweries tour, but I couldn't find Toyoshima-ya in Kamisuwa, so I went to Masumi for the five breweries tour. For 3,000 yen per person, you can visit the five breweries and enjoy a tasting. A purse, a glass, and a stamp card are included. If you are not able to drink alcohol, such as when driving, they will give you a cup of sake. Masumi is the originator of Association No. 7 yeast. The place where you will be tasted is Sera Masumi. It is a new place. At first I was puzzled because there were no customers there. I was puzzled at first. You can have one tasting with one coin. I forgot to take a picture, but it was delicious. I regretted that I was not enthusiastic about drinking Masumi because I have many opportunities to drink it. The summer sake had less aroma than I expected, but it was refreshing and easy to drink. The ume (plum) wine was not too sweet and was pleasant to the palate. In addition to the prepared tasting, the amazake that was offered to us was It was very tasty. Masumi was the only one of the five breweries that allowed us to drink as much warm water as we wanted.

This is the first sake. This is the third brewery on the Suwa Sake brewery tour. It is located far away from the city and is in Chino City. I had given up because it was so far away, but we were able to go because it was near the Apple Pie Lab that my husband wanted to go to 😊. There were no customers, so we were able to sample the sake slowly. The aroma was gorgeous with a hint of lychee❓The mouthfeel was soft and smooth, but the flavor was firm and pleasant. It is soft and smooth on the palate, yet has a firm flavor that is pleasant. I was going to buy this one, but I liked another local unlabeled dry wine that I was allowed to try, so I bought that one as well. I will enjoy drinking it at home slowly and hot.

Purchased at the same time as a 720 ml bottle of Yamae Nishiki at the Takaten no Kura. cup sake. We had it at the hotel along with a blue🍏 Granny Smith pie purchased at an apple pie store, which was a place my husband wanted to go. It was delicious with the pie, which was not too sweet, and the high-tempered cup sake, which had a crisp taste that did not wear off after a while. I took the train to Tatsuno Town where the Firefly Festival was being held. As one would expect from a place listed on a national list of places famous for fireflies, there were a great number of fireflies. The synchronized flashing lights were amazing💫💡💫.

I went to Suwa Shrine ⛩️ to visit four shrines. It was my first time, but my husband had been there before on his motorcycle and recommended it to me. In addition, we visited nine breweries of Suwa's local sake, which is dedicated to the shrine. We went to the first four breweries before visiting the shrine. The first tasting was Mikotsuru. This is a paid tasting only. I decided on Kinmon-nishiki, which was offered at KEG DRAFT. I have had it several times and was impressed by its freshness and deep flavor with a crisp outline. I was grateful that they offered to pour the brewing water for me. The sake cake we purchased was delicious and allowed us to enjoy the gentle taste of sake.

Pon-chan, good evening😄The 4 Suwa-taisha shrines were a solemn and lovely place. The sake brewery was just a side visit 😬The fresh Kinmon-nishiki was delicious 😆 The cake 9 breweries taste like a Shiga cheesecake.
