This sake was purchased at the Nippon Izumi Sake Brewery in Gifu. Nobunaga and Nohime. Both Rice polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content: between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius Let's try Nobunaga. It has a fruity aroma and a crisp taste with the deliciousness of rice. I was going to have the Nohime tomorrow. But I decided to drink it just to see the difference in taste. I can't tell a big difference 😂. I felt that the Koi Hime was slightly sweeter. It was delicious so I'm satisfied 😉.

The meat gift from my daughter arrived very late as a birthday present for my husband and I, who are three days apart 🎁. My son gave each of us a gift of our choice (alcohol for me again, this time liqueur 😅) It seems to be a local sake from Nagahama, Kita Omi, which is made of sake and blue herb 🌿 "Butterflapi" and represents the charm of Lake Oku-Biwako. I didn't have anything to go with the steak, so I went with this sake. It is a liqueur with little sweetness and a refreshing taste, but it was easy to drink as sake. It made me feel like my family was together even though we were not at the table.

This sake is also my son's souvenir from Okayama. The fact that I haven't checked the date of manufacture is what makes them so special😅. It's aged well and has a caramel-like sweetness that comes out bitter. This was delicious. I drank it cold, but when I warmed it up to lukewarm, the taste became rounder and different. It was different from the original. I would like to try other specs. It went well with yakitori and Sekogani crab 😁.

Purchased at Takashimaya's Sake Festival. Brewed with "Ihyakumanshi," a new sake rice developed by the Tottori Prefecture of Sennyo Musubi, this sake has a fruity, ripe, melon-like flavor and sweetness. The clean aftertaste is also elegant and I liked it. I prefer to drink it cold, though it tastes sweeter and fuller when lukewarm. I prefer to drink it cold.

Liqueur. I love chestnuts so I bought it as soon as I found it at Yatagarasu's warehouse. You can enjoy the strong 🌰 taste. It is delicious on the rocks, ice cream, and baumkuchen. I was able to enjoy it little by little for a long time.

It had been a while since I had been to a baseball game, so I had prepared this sake with the intention of taking it with me in a processed paper cup, but I wanted to try it lukewarm and gave up. I tasted it mindfully because it is named after a natural winter phenomenon in Lake Suwa, "after God has passed over😌. It is a sake that is soft on the palate and has a strong umami flavor. When warmed to lukewarm, it had a good balance of fullness and bitterness. I used it as a pack of wine when watching a baseball ⚾️ game at Kyocera Dome 🍷It is also available. I went to cheer 📣 but it was a losing game 😂.

This is a souvenir of Okayama from my son. He is now able to bring home local sake to his parents whenever he feels like it 😆. The gorgeous aroma is like ripe pear or white peach with lactic acidity. I had it cold sake. The soft flavor of Omachi spreads through the taste. From the second day, an elegant sweetness emerges and it is well-balanced and delicious.

I received it as a souvenir from the Oki Islands. I was happy because it is a sake I don't often encounter. It has a classic alcohol smell. It seems to be this brand when it comes to sake, since shochu is mainly drunk locally. It is clean, dry, and leaves a grain aroma, but it is perfect as a food sake, either cold or lukewarm.

This is one bottle that I have purchased at the warehouse. The 3 deci is just the right amount to help. The label is "Taiyo Umi" by Ito Shinsui, a work sprayed on drawing paper using a sprayer. I would like to see the real thing. The aroma is like ripe plum and slightly green bamboo. The taste starts with a light sweetness, followed by a balance of sourness and spiciness. The overall taste is refreshing. It was perfect as a food sake.

This sake, made with "Alps Yeast" purchased at the Maihime brewery, was served cold. It was delicious with a gorgeous, apple-like fruity aroma and a full-bodied flavor. From the second day, sweetness emerged and it was well-balanced and enjoyable on its own. I would like to drink more sake made with Yamae Nishiki in the future.

I went to the brewery to have another go at the Bodaihashi sake I purchased at Shorakuji Temple in January, because the sake smelled like pickles and was far from the taste I tasted at the temple. The location is Yoshino, famous for cherry blossoms in Nara Prefecture, and the Yoshino River flows next to the temple. This time, I tasted four kinds of sake recommended by the brewery and bought a bottle of Daihara instead of Bodeshige. When the bottle was opened, the aroma was not bothersome, even though I could smell pickles in the distance. I like the sweetness like a melon in the mouth and the bitterness that comes in contact with it a little. Novel Sweetish: 13% alcohol, sweet and easy to drink. Special Junmai Sake: Good balance of umami and bitterness. Junmai Daiginjo Yamadanishiki: Beautiful taste and you can feel the flavor of the rice. I am glad I could visit the brewery this time 😄. Across the river from the Yatagarasu brewery, we went to the famous Kakinoha Sushi restaurant, Heimune Yoshino, and bought ayu sushi and sansai maki (wild vegetable rolls) to go with it.

This is my first time at this restaurant. Oden is the main dish, but there are other dishes on the menu as well. I ordered the bonito tataki. Thick slices, freshly seared and delicious. The shiragiku was not too pungent and refreshing. It was a good match with the bonito.

While my son was staying in Oki Island, we received turban shells. We were able to enjoy various kinds of turban shells, including grilled in a pot and turban shell rice 🙏. I paired the grilled turban shell with a bottle of Nanpo. It was my first time to drink it, but it had a sweet taste that tangled on my tongue, but the bitterness came out and went away quickly, so I could enjoy it without disturbing the ingredients. I learned from bouken's post that this sake is not made by the company itself, but is made in 4 different locations. It's great that you noticed this👍 Please refer to bouken's post for more details.

This sake was purchased at a brewery in Okaya City. It has a high alcohol content of 17 degrees, but the sweetness of the rice that appears after the sharp alcohol taste is pleasant. When I drank it with meat, it was delicious with the rich flavor of Yamae-Nishiki.

United Arrows, I had been through the series, but I was curious and captured the stag beetle this year. Assemblage based on "Kabuto-bushi." It certainly tastes like honey lemon. It has a wide range of sweetness and 14% alcohol content is easy to drink. It does not feel like 90% polished rice. From the second day, the sweetness settles down and the balance improves, making it delicious. KUWAGATA also has its own character and is delicious. I decided not to compete with Kabutomushi. The taste of freshly brewed beer at the Suntory Kyoto Beer Factory was exceptional.

This beetle is good because it does not need to be fed and pleases me. When the bottle is opened, it has a citrusy taste with a little bitterness like that of Hassaku. Refreshing and perfect for summer. The fine air bubbles that stick to the glass with a swirl give it a cool feeling. Handmade chicken tsukune. I paired it with sesame tofu. From the second day, it became sweeter and more lemon squash-like.

This is the last sake I drank in July. I bought it at Hanshin Department Store. The two kinds of high quality sake from Hiroki that I was allowed to taste were delicious. This Purple Space Morning Glory label is supposed to be drunk in summer to enjoy the blooming of morning glories, but when I drank it, the morning glories were already in bloom😅. I'm sick and tired of opening the bottle of purple space every time I drink it 😩. It is too hard to open. The taste is soft and easy to drink with the sweetness and umami of the rice. The bitterness follows afterwards. From the second day, the sweetness spreads and the balance improves, which I like. This sweetness may be a characteristic of Akita Sakekomachi. I don't know. The fourth picture is a commemorative photo with my mother's morning glory.

Please drink it as soon as possible because the expiration date is approaching. and I bought the remaining two bottles with a grin as they were on sale at half price 😬. This is the first time I have ever seen Kikusui in this color cup can. Junmai Ginjyo Genshu Rice polishing ratio: 55 Alcohol content: 17.5 The aroma was not so much noticeable, but it was delicious with a rich mouthfeel and a pleasant dry aftertaste. I felt like I got a great deal 😁.
