A friend of mine in Hokkaido wanted to see fireflies. So I went to the "Amano Sake Firefly Party" at the Amano Sake Brewery in Kawachinagano. I was surprised to see Ofuji-san by chance at a liquor store I stopped by before going to the venue😳It was nice to talk with him. ☺️
Before viewing the fireflies, we enjoy an assortment of appetizers and drinks with a 500 yen ticket redemption coupon.
Of course, 500 yen is not enough.
The sake we paid extra for and were served was unlabeled as it was squeezed directly from the brewery. The picture is from the brewery, using AK35 yeast (I remember Amano sake being brewed with YK35, so I asked about it and was told that it was too costly. I asked him about it and he said it would cost too much.)
Lightly cloudy. (I remember that Amano sake was brewed with YK35, so I asked him about it. The Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-Genshu I drank was delicious with a fruity melon-like flavor, unlike the classic taste of Amano-shu.
We turned off the lights and watched fireflies. It was nice to be able to see them in such close proximity.
