Purchased at the Hankyu Sake Brewer's Festival.
I was going to buy one of the Takeoka series, but there was a draft sake, so I tasted this one and bought it.
The brand name is Wazo, but I registered it as Seisen to make it easier to search.
According to the official website, this sake used to be sold under the brand name Shikanozan.
According to the official site, this sake is a draft sake.
It is fresh and slightly effervescent, though it has an aruze-like character.
Slightly fruity and sweet. Slightly acidic.
I would like to try some of the Takeoka series of nama-shu!

Wakura Sake Brewery

This is also a souvenir from a trip to Chiba!
It is a sake for connoisseurs and its name is "Dori Shu". It is graceful.
The taste is definitely strong.
It went perfectly with the sushi I bought.
It was delicious!
The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival ①.
In the morning, I secretly observed my son's kendo promotion exam, where I happened to meet and talk with his teacher from junior high school. He has retired from teaching and is now coaching once a week as an outside coach. After more than 30 years, I could clearly feel the passage of time...
From noon, we participated in the Hankyu Kuramoto Festival.
Mr. bouken was here early, sorry for making you wait 🙏.
We soon met and greeted Usagigoten-san.
We started with a brewery that doesn't come to Kansai very often.
The Seisen and Takeoka booths.
Seisen Junmai-shu
A standard junmai sake with a slight sweetness, umami flavor and dry sharpness.
◉Seisen Akigari
A very good sake with a sharp aftertaste.
◉Seisen Junmai Ginjo
A little bit of alkalinity, but a crisp, clean dry taste.
◉Seisen St. Spring Junmai Ginjo Genshu
Low alcohol and slightly sweet. A little complex from start to finish.
The Seisen brand is a bit more dry than the one labeled with kanji characters.
The difference between the brands is that Seisen uses Chiba Prefecture's Fusa Kogane rice. Takeoka] uses rice from all over Japan.
Due to character limit, I posted this separately from Takeoka.
The 22nd Hankyu Brewery Festival ①.
We went to the annual Hankyu Department Store's warehouse festival!
I felt like there were as many people as in front of Corona Disaster in the last few years 🤔.
First of all, Wagura Sake Brewery participated for the first time!
I only drank some of the limited time items that were available at the antenna store and the liquor store.
I'll split my post between Seisen and Takeoka since I drink a lot of different kinds of sake😅.
I visited this booth by myself, then with Nemuchi, and finally with Yoohee at the end of the day 😅.
Seisen is the traditional brand and Takeoka is brewed with various rice.
He said the rice used for Seisen is called "Fusakogane".
I drank
Seisen Junmai
Gentle sweetness and full-bodied flavor. I think it is best served at room temperature or warmed.
Seisen Junmai Ginjo
More refreshing than Junmai
Seisen Autumn
Slightly ripe and mildly sweet. I've had it in the past, but the impression is still the same: delicious!
st.spring Junmai Ginjyo Genshu
A low-alcohol type sake. It is sweet and acidic, like a dessert sake.
Assemblage
This year, they put more Daiginjo in the bottle. Slightly sweet and complex flavor.
Sake made with edible rice "Fusakogane" produced in Chiba Prefecture!
Although it is edible rice, the sweetness of the rice is as good as that of sake rice, and combined with the fact that it is unfiltered raw sake, it gives this sake a rough taste!
