I had it before and liked it so much I got it again 😆. BBQ, corn, edamame, cucumbers... perfect for summer 😁. I like to drink it with soda since it is 20 degrees. Purchased because of the 60% milled rice ratio and 20 alcohol by volume. I wanted to drink it on the rocks on the day the rainy season ended, so I opened the bottle. ☀️ I paired it with frozen Genghis Khan that I brought back from Tono. It's well separated, so I shook it lightly before putting it in ice 🧊. It's less lactic than I thought it would be, and it's very spicy and thick, but it's cold and refreshing and delicious 🤤. I like this kind of sketchy in a good way. My brain feels good🤩. Definitely this for Genghis Khan 😭

Gekkeikan Argo Sparkling Argo has been the subject of much controversy, but since there was a sparkling version, we decided to see if it would be controversial enough to drink. I had it cold. The color is clear, almost colorless, with a faint yellow tinge. The aroma is apricot-like. The mouthfeel is schwarzy and slightly effervescent. For a long time, fine bubbles rise from the bottom of the cup. At first, you may think it is too loose and tasteless, but the carbonation accentuates the taste, and after swallowing, you can gradually taste a moderate sweetness and umami, and a hint of sourness in the fizzy, bubbly taste. It has more flavor than ordinary Argo and is delicious. When I first tried Argo, I thought it had a fizzy taste, so I thought it wasn't the same as Argo, but when I added carbon dioxide gas, it became a common sparkling sake, and I felt like there was no point in putting sake in the front. Still, I bow to the company's efforts. Ingredients: Rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic), carbon dioxide Alcohol content: 5%.

A delicious, sweet, junmai sake. It's as natural as "Shizenshu"! It's hard to believe it's 80% rice polishing ratio, but I get the impression it doesn't contain anything impure. It's just after the autumn, so it has a great flavor. It's an autumnal sake, but it's also good to drink it sipping after the start of winter! We used Go To to Echigo Yuzawa. So_1F3D4 brand and Naebayama brand that I don't remember seeing in Tokyo to match the local cuisine of the hotel. Junmai-Ginjo sake with Junmai-Ginjo specifications. The gentle aroma, the sweetness, and the refreshing finish give me the impression that this is a "Niigata's local sake" as I have always imagined it to be. In terms of Niigata brands that you can buy in Tokyo, I'd say it's similar to the Junmai Ginjo specs of Tsurueri or Kubota. If I tasted it, I'd never be able to understand it myself... After all, coming on a trip and pairing it with local food is the best part of local sake 👍.

The rice used is Gohyakumangoku and Koshibuki. My first impression was "It's sweet. ❣️ I felt that "Kosu-Mori" was also quite sweet for me, but it seemed more profound than "Kosu-Mori". It is like licking a muscat candy. The finish, however, is crisp with just the right amount of bitterness, so the sweetness doesn't linger and it feels refreshing. At Ya-Ya in Kobe. This is the first time to drink Neko Masamune since it was transferred from the defunct Omi Sake Brewery to Maihime🐱. It has a sweet taste with a slight graininess from the freshness. It tastes a little messy, but it's not that bad, right? Might prefer it to Omi Neko Masamune 🤔. Purchased at Umeda Department Store. (Hankyu or Hanshin) One of seven breweries in Nara Prefecture that belong to the Nara Prefecture Bodai-Hashimoto Sake Research Association. See label on back. Rich, mouthfeel It is a sweet type, but the far and spreading umami and bitterness It was delicious and matched well with food. It became mellow and mild when heated to lukewarm and I could enjoy it with ease 😁. I am interested in the history of sake only when I taste Bodaihashi.

This was also purchased at Oka Sake Shoten, the same place as Unjaku. The aroma is mild but unique. The rice used is Omachi from Okayama Prefecture. It has a dark mouthfeel and a bit of maturity, but as the days go by, it becomes more rounded and changes to a level where even those who are not good at it can go. However, even though it has become more rounded and easier to drink, the sweetness and strength of the Omachi can still be clearly seen, so there will be different tastes. For me, it's a very interesting sake! The first day I opened the bottle, I thought it might be too peculiar to pair with a meal. However, from the second day onwards, while maintaining its richness, it gradually becomes lighter and lighter, and is not bad as a food sake. If you roll it around in your mouth, it is a nicely aged sake, but if you drink it with gusto, you can drink it without worrying too much. Still, I want to enjoy the aged feeling of this kind of sake, so drinking it a little bit every day is good for me.
