Spoils of my Nagano business trip㊿.
I'm back in my hometown for Obon vacation😙I opened a bottle of Kawanakajima Genmai that I bought on a business trip to Nagano a year ago, which had been stored in the fridge for a long time 😀.
Ripe fruit aroma 😊Elegant sweetness and umami, nicely offset by a pleasant acidity and a tight finish 😚👍✨Genmai is also a delicious sake after all 🥰.
The fourth picture is from last week at Numazu Una Takumi, where I had a half-jyu (a half-jyu of grilled white fish and half-jyu of kabayaki fish). The fluffy meat was very tasty 😋I would like to go back for more if I have the chance😇.

I enjoyed the local sake when I visited Matsumoto city for sightseeing 😊I tried Kawanakajima for the first time and it was very milky, mellow, sharp, full and delicious 😋The salt on the sake was a nice complement to the sweetness of the sake. The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture 😚💗.

I found a stylish bottle with alphabet.
I looked closer and saw that it was Kawanakajima, famous for Genmai 😳❗️
When I brought it to the cashier, the clerk said
The clerk said, "This one is labeled 'Kawanakajima,' so it won't sell out immediately like Genshu Mai, but it tastes just like Genshu Mai!" I was vaguely aware of this.
I vaguely remembered this and tried it.
I have never had either Kawanakajima or Genmai, so I can't compare them, but they are both milky sweet sake❤️

Oh, this one is dry with a lot of gusto.
It has none of the glamour of Genmai, and has the atmosphere of a traditional sake.
However, it has a soft umami flavor and a clean aftertaste, so you will not get tired of drinking it.
It is also full-bodied, so it is sure to be a good match for dishes with a bit of a peculiar flavor.
I took a rest day yesterday so a little more 😁.

I found out that a fire broke out in the hotel where I was staying.
What? I just came out and the alarm didn't even go off💦.
They found out 40 minutes later that it wasn't a fire. What in the world kind of call would have attracted so many ambulances? Thanks to all those who were involved in the morning.
I was not so tired from work, but I had yesterday's Masumi (I will probably drink a lot tomorrow), so I cutely bought a bottle of sake. I wonder if it will rain heavily tomorrow 🤣The texture is like doburoku, quite thick and not too sweet. It went very well with my meal. If I thought it was too strong, I thought I should just carbonate it like Chanma and P did, but I drank the whole bottle 😆 I'm not cute.
