This local sake is made from 100% Hiroshima-grown rice suitable for sake brewing, and is produced by the Hara Brewery, which is located in the basement of a building in the city's Naka Ward. Buy it at Yamaya, which has a larger selection of pine flowers than other stores, because of its retro labels. I think this is the first time I've seen Matsu-no-Hana Honjozo! It has a good balance of clear but not too sweet and not too spicy. Easy to drink. I would also like to tell you that it is very cost-effective at less than 1,000 yen, including tax! I must try heated sake while the temperature is not too high.

A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅....
