This is Asahi Kiku Arahashiri, a Fukuoka souvenir 🍶. It's in a nice looking bottle, but it seems that during the new sake season, Fukuoka's sake is often served in these stoppered bottles. I thought it was nice because it can be corked tightly so it is easy to reuse. The initial aroma is slightly sweet, like cooked rice. In the mouth, it has a mild sweet flavor with a slight astringency. It finishes with a slight bitterness. The astringency was a bit strong, but the sake was delicious with a calm and full flavor typical of Asahi Kiku ✨.

Usually not a fan of taruzake but this was a limited seasonal release, directly from the barrel to the bottle. Not so overpowering & in my view could be good with food although I had mostly finished eating by this point in the evening.
Next up was a junmai ginjo sake from Fukuoka by Asahi Kiku💛.

I ordered this because they said the money for this will be donated to the Noto earthquake. It will be hot 🍶. Oh no, there was only one left when I thought this was the Mexicali Tempura. It doesn't feel special, but it's a nice sake that goes perfectly with a meal. It wasn't stingy at all. I can't read the label. It's black, which is what a beginner in calligraphy did.

The bottle of Fukumitsuya's that I wanted was sold out, and Murata's brother said "this one is good too", so I bought it. The aroma is like an old sake. The mouthfeel is crisp and the umami lingers slowly. We decided it should be warmed up, so we served it lukewarm. The acidity starts to show up, but it doesn't linger and you can still taste the gentle umami. It was delicious in a kanzamashi state! Next time, let's compare it with one of my favorites!
