Good evening. I am a cold sake supremacist. But sometimes I want to know the goodness of room temperature sake. I bought a bottle of Gunma-izumi at the first store I went to with this in mind! It is a representative of cold and hot sake! What do you think? Let's get to it!
The aroma is more intense than floral, with a strong, full, sweet rice aroma. The soft mouthfeel has a sweetness as if you are eating fluffy rice, and the sourness that surrounds it is very nice. It is an amazing sake that makes you realize that this is what the flavor of rice is all about. It is a strong, full-bodied sake with a lot of sharpness. It is a classic sake, and I think it is a sake for a select group of people. However, it is a dangerous sake in the sense that it disappears before you know it if you keep drinking it with half a doubt in your mind. If you really want to enjoy a classic sake, you should drink Gunma-izumi. I don't have any at the moment, but I will write about my impressions of the hot sake later, so please wait a little while. Thank you again for the food and drink tonight!
P.S.
I tried heating it up. Oh, the good aroma of the rice is still there, but the umami of the rice has been added to the richness, the acidity has become sharper, and finally there is a moment of concentrated sweetness and a strong sharpness, just like a classic royal road.
It's cold and windy today 😨🥶.
I had a bad day at work, so I bought this hot sake at the supermarket. It smells sweet like sugar, but when I drank it, it was mild and not so sweet. It is delicious.

At Kusatsu Onsen. It is sweet, soft, and delicious. It fits the image of the package. The scent of the hinoki cypress from the cup gives it an air of elegance.
Purchased at a liquor store called the "sacred place" of sake.
Gunma Izumi is a definite favorite of mine, so I bought a bottle this time as well. It's cheap because it's a honjozo sake.
It is good from room temperature to hot sake! It's gentle but robust and not too rich, perfect for a regular sake! I could drink it all the time 😊.
It's really great that it tastes good at room temperature! It's really good at room temperature, no need to keep it cold, and you can drink it quickly without heating it up!
Thank you!
drinking at home (as opposed to going out)
The weekend before last, my daughter contacted me to accompany her to Gunma to purchase a car🚙 and gave it to me as a gift!
It was the first time she bought it for me so I can't really say anything about it 😭
The store owner was very kind and explained everything to her.
It is a 3 year cold-aged sake and is a very delicious daiginjo with a sense of maturity similar to a light Shaoxing sake.

The photo shows a Subaru 360 & Rabbit scooter at the dealership.
I've had a drink at home before, but it's been a while, so I'll put it up.
It's a classic label, but when you drink it, it's not so classic, and it's easy to drink.
It's a little older than usual, but it tastes beautiful.
The rice is Wakamizu and Asahi no Yume, apparently.
I've been wondering if this sake is different from ordinary Yamahai, though it's labeled "Namahashi-ryu" even though it's Yamahai.
Tenjin's Narazuke was sweet, rich and delicious.
Tenkohi and Narazuke go so well together😋.
I drank 8 kinds of sake in total, including Jyugyohi, Honshu Ichi, and Toryu, but I've already posted them in the past, so I won't go into them here 😌.
