First Fukuoka sake on my new account. It is Ikegame from Kurume 🐢. The label is a cute goldfish: ❤️ This is my first time drinking Ikegame, and while it is a junmai sake, it also has a bit of ginjo aroma, which gives it a nice cosiness 😙. This is also a 3-day record. Chiebijin was not enough, so I threw in a small bottle. This is the pink label of Yatsuka, which I have come to like! It feels more rounded than Chiebijin. Delicious!

The brewery is more impressive for its shochu Ginza no Suzume than for its sake. Tasted and purchased. It has a gorgeous aroma and is fruity even when drunk. 1801 yeast is used, making it a sweet and fruity sake that is easy to understand. I wish they would release a fresh sake of this one. I felt it was sweeter and fruity at room temperature than when it was chilled to the perfect temperature.

Sake from a sake brewery in the northern part of the prefecture, located in the famous production area of Hachitan-Nishiki, Hiroshima's representative sake rice. The brewery has been working on it since the rice was first produced. The name of the sake is "Miwa Sakura" instead of "Miwa Zakura," which I had been misreading for a long time. It is said to be dry, but the quality of the sake is relatively soft. It has a nice sharp aftertaste and is easy to drink. It is quite my favorite 😋. I had it cold, but I think it can also be served warm.

First brand name Kita no Hana. It is a backroom deal with a sake teacher. Even if I say it is a backroom deal, he will sell me any rare sake at the same price I bought it from the liquor store, and even if I tell him I will take care of the transportation costs, he stubbornly refuses to accept it. I told them that if I sold them at a higher price, the liquor store would take me on as a reseller, and after that, they would never sell me rare sake. The fact that you can normally drink Jyushiyo at home is based on the mutual trust between the seller and the buyer. Kita no Hana, the label is very attractive. I don't detect much of the Kamitatekoso, but there is a round, unfamiliar aroma in the back of the bottle. The mouthfeel is moist, calm, and elegant with sweetness and soft umami, and the rounded aroma in the aftertaste is fruity. The acidity and bitterness are both moderate, and it has a mysterious sharpness that just flutters and closes. It is really a round, gentle and mysterious sake, and this must be one of its balances. This sake was purchased at the Tokyu Hands Tohoku Fair last month. I opened the bottle after drinking all the Miyaizumi. It has a gorgeous sweetness that rushes in from the first sip! It doesn't have the aftertaste of raw sake, and it goes down nicely. It's definitely good. This sake is brewed from 100% Akita Sakekomachi polished to half its original strength. Tonight we will drink it at home. I have a bad feeling about this...

Quite a fine Junmai Daiginjo sake. There is enough mellow deliciousness. It is a talented brewery in Saitama. Aside from Kamikame, it is the second best sake in Saitama after Hanayo-yoku.

This is the first time I drink it at home. I bought it from Kurumiya in Hachinohe because they only sell one bottle of sake in my neighborhood. I also bought two other kinds of sake that cannot be bought in Kansai. The packaging was very careful and excellent. The aroma is subtle, with hints of strawberries and berries. The refreshing sweetness and acidity are pleasant. The final taste is bitter. I have the impression that Miyamanishiki and other sake I have had in the past were sweeter. I wish there was a store in Kansai where I could buy Shugou... I heard that the sake brewery here is aging, with all the employees over 65 years old. I wonder if that's why they don't distribute much.

I bought this brand together with Ken-Aizan because I had not yet had any of Kangiku's other brands. The flavor is not as impressive as Ken-Aizan, but it is an honest and tasty type of sake. I like Kangiku's sake as a whole, and I always find a good flavor in a modest way.

The sake is of 90% polishing ratio. A very bubbly sake with fragrance of white flower, white peach and apple. The texture is light, with flavours of grapes and pear, also tasted sour. Not much umami but it gets more alcoholic flavor when it gets warmer. Best if drink chilled.
