The last of the Ohigan parties was the first Kamizenjosui in a long time. I had an image of a more Showa-esque sake, but to my surprise, it really looked like water. It went well with a wide range of foods such as sashimi and Costco high rollers. In other words, it doesn't get in the way. It made me rethink my opinion a little bit. I think I need to update my taste buds by choosing something that doesn't look like a local sake sometimes.

My favorite Shinshu sake. Terreroir terrior from Tsuchiya Sake Brewery, with a hit of Kinmon-nishiki made from the finest rice fields in Saku. It must be delicious! Winter only. When the bottle is opened, it has a gorgeous ginjo aroma and muscat!

Sake made from 100% Omachi rice Mild sweetness spreads in the mouth, followed by a pleasant acidity that is well balanced. It is easy to drink with no cloying taste, and it goes down your throat nicely ✨. I feel that there is nothing wrong with Omachi, but this sake is the most delicious Omachi sake I have ever tasted 😊.

At the tasting, I tasted a ripe LaFrance.... I was attracted by the words "Ripe LaFrance" and tasted it... I was scared 😳. This is really LaFrance 🍐! The way the aftertaste pulls away from the 🍐 is fantastic👍. Originally made by another brewery, but when they quit, Aihara Brewery took over the brewery. I heard it used to reign in the East and West with Jyushiyo (never had it...) 🤔. I don't have any experience so I can't compare, but this one is different for me personally!

Kaneizumi is another brand of Aihara Shuzo, famous for Amego no Tsuki. This white lightning bolt is a spot product. On the palate, it has an elegant and discreet mix of sweetness and acidity, with a sharp finish that cuts through with a touch of bitterness! The bitterness is a nice accent, making it a very tasty sake that goes well with the season 😋.

Rice used is Miyamanishiki I didn't find it too harsh, but my partner, who prefers a gorgeous sweet taste, found it too much for his palate. It is true that the alcohol taste comes first, and the mouthfeel is not smooth. As the day goes by, the corners are removed and it becomes more moderate, so it might be better to go out with it slowly, but I don't dislike it in this way.

The label is named after Naoe Kanetsugu's helmet seal [Ai]... I couldn't help but buy it 😅. I thought it was a crisp, dry, refreshing sake that I would never get tired of drinking on the palate. In Yonezawa, we did not have enough time to visit Kosaka Sake Brewery due to a visit to Toko's sake brewery. The next day, after eating Yamagata Ramen, we stopped by Beni no Kura in Yamagata City and purchased this 🤗. It's a refreshingly dry sake with a great taste of rice. I heard a voice actor say that the sake of Yamaguchi Prefecture is delicious ottersai, but Toyo Bijin! So I bought it. It's very dry, and the first sip is so spicy that it's hard to believe, but the aftertaste disappears quickly. Yes, it is indeed delicious. I want to drink the other ones too. This is good. I also got some sake for the new year, but I'll post more about that in the New Year.

This is my first Toyo Bijin. I had drunk Yachiyo Shuzo's Room twice and wondered what kind of Toyo Bijin was in its class, but I happened to find it at a store I had been visiting for a while, so I bought it on the spur of the moment! The standing aroma is tropical and a bit gorgeous with pineapple and melon fruits. Is this the sweetness of Oriental Beauty? The sweetness is firm but moist and not stinging! There is clearly more lees than the previous Yamadanishiki. When you take the supernatant first, the taste opens up from the beginning, with a thick umami and sweetness spreading. The Yamadanishiki Junmai Ginjo reached this state at room temperature, but this one's flavor comes through even at low temperatures. When the lees are stirred, a crisp acidity is added and the aftertaste becomes clear. The full-bodied aroma comes out of the nose, and the taste becomes highly complete at once. This one is also insanely delicious! I've been drinking a lot of Omachi sake lately, and I wonder if this complex and thick sweet flavor is a characteristic of Omachi.

Yamadanishiki ver. Compared to Omachi's lees sake, it is slightly more lees and has a 1% lower alcohol content (17%). The bottle size is also changed from 500ml for Omachi to No. 4. The aroma is like rice itself and rice malt. The pure sweetness that is typical of Yamadanishiki passes through the nostrils with a slightly thick texture, and there is a slight bitterness that seeps into the tongue. A slight bitterness seeps into the tongue and a tangy sourness on the tip of the tongue. The taste that spreads in multiple directions in the mouth is like a rocket firework. At home. The first Ehime. Ishizuchi is the number one sake in Ehime. The aroma is a little fruity in the sake, and the mouthfeel is smooth and light. This sake was purchased at the Tokyu Hands Tohoku Fair last month. I opened the bottle after drinking all the Miyaizumi. It has a gorgeous sweetness that rushes in from the first sip! It doesn't have the aftertaste of raw sake, and it goes down nicely. It's definitely good. This sake is brewed from 100% Akita Sakekomachi polished to half its original strength. Tonight we will drink it at home. I have a bad feeling about this...

First brand name Kita no Hana. It is a backroom deal with a sake teacher. Even if I say it is a backroom deal, he will sell me any rare sake at the same price I bought it from the liquor store, and even if I tell him I will take care of the transportation costs, he stubbornly refuses to accept it. I told them that if I sold them at a higher price, the liquor store would take me on as a reseller, and after that, they would never sell me rare sake. The fact that you can normally drink Jyushiyo at home is based on the mutual trust between the seller and the buyer. Kita no Hana, the label is very attractive. I don't detect much of the Kamitatekoso, but there is a round, unfamiliar aroma in the back of the bottle. The mouthfeel is moist, calm, and elegant with sweetness and soft umami, and the rounded aroma in the aftertaste is fruity. The acidity and bitterness are both moderate, and it has a mysterious sharpness that just flutters and closes. It is really a round, gentle and mysterious sake, and this must be one of its balances.
