There is also umami with lasting after taste. It tasted sweet and more alcoholic when the temperature lowers. Great to go with Chinese food, seafood and food with strong flavors.

It is non-filtered original sake. The color is milky with sake kasu. Extremely bubbly, smells like rice and tasted like cooked rice and cottage cheese. It is a type between refreshing and rich sake, tasted better when chilled. To be super cautious when opening the bottle give the strong bubbles.

It smells like rose and lychee and it is very sour. When it gets warmer, the alcoholic taste become stronger. A very rare sake which matches with fruits and desserts. An interesting try!

It is a non-filtered sake. The rice polishing ratio is 80%. Not much of a note on the nose, mainly rice flavor. The texture is very thick, sweet yet dry, with heavy umami. Great to pair with food.

This sake uses dewasansan, with a 6% polishing ratio. It comes with apple and pear smell. It tasted very sweet, and the texture is smooth with a hint of alcohol flavor. It has a slight hint of umami, when it gets warmer, there is also a flavor of mango and melon. A very refreshing sake.

This sake is of 19% rice polishing ratio. There is a prominent pear and green apple flavor. It is pretty dry but as it gets warmer the taste gets sweeter. There is also taste of minerals, quite salty and with obvious umami.

The gold label uses yamadanishiki. It has apple and pear smell. Also fruity flavor like pineapple, melon, apple and pear while drinking. Very sweet and smooth while with strong umami. Good to drink at 5-10 degrees celsius. Great match with appetizers, white fish or dish with ponzu sauce.

A hint of wooden flavor when first opened, followed by raisin flavors. Sweet, with dried fruits and flower taste. The alcohol taste and umami is relatively strong. Only 1,000 production per year with 7% polishing.

Another sake with 7% polishing. A bit of wooden aroma when first opened, followed with flower aroma. Sweet and aromatic sake with mango and pineapple flavor. Smooth and the umami is very strong, also the after taste is strong. Only 1,000 production each year, and the bottle design differs every year as an art piece.
伯楽星Reikyo Absolute Zero純米大吟醸

The first and only sake in the world achieving 0.85% polishing. A hint of grapes and bubble gum as the first impression. A sweet sake with flavors of rice and mango. Extremely smooth with slight umami. Only 999 bottles produced per year and each bottle requires 221 days of polishing! Interesting and precious but lacks a bit of character.
