The sake is made and labeled in a way that takes advantage of the climate of Oarai, Ibaraki. It is refreshingly dry when served cold. When heated, it becomes more floral and friendly. I'd like to try it with sea bream or flatfish from Oarai.

Rice used is Oarai-grown Chiyonishiki It is more rough than fresh. However, it is not rough at all. It has a refreshing taste, and the umami of the rice spreads slowly. I've had many Tsuki no I's with this kind of atmosphere! I think it will probably become milder and more flavorful with aging, but I like it better as it is because it has its own personality.

Banana like aroma. The mouthfeel is slightly sweet. After that, the dry taste or the feeling of running spreads to the mouth. There is a hint of bitterness, but the aftertaste is sweet. Tsuki no Ii has a new toji (brewer) this season, and they are making sake under a new system. I can't wait to see how it changes 🤗

The rice used is Asahi rice produced in Okayama Prefecture. This is a good food sake that can be drunk easily. It has just a hint of sweetness, with a crisp, bitter and spicy finish. There is nothing to hold you back, so you can't help but drink it. This is one of the several bottles I purchased from Doroki Sake Store, including the Koei Kiku, under the guidance of MAJ. I would like to thank you again for the good sake ^_^.

The third cup is "Ooga" jungin non-filtered raw! (First picture, left side) The mouthfeel is mild and gentle, a far cry from the dryness of the previous section. The strength of the original sake, the sweet and delicious flavor of the rice, and a hint of cream-like aroma are very appealing!

Outside drinking. Ordered by the impact of the name. When poured, it smells moist and sweet. The taste is as expected (?). The sweetness is strong. When tasted, it has the flavor of rice. There is a slight astringency in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is clean, with a watery sensation and a nice clean finish. There is a distinctive sweet aroma. It is a mellow, sweet sake, and you can sense the careful craftsmanship. Later I looked it up and found the word "Toyobai" 😳. I didn't realize it was so 😚.

This is a good sake. ❣️ It has strength and acidity that is typical of a sake brewed from a traditional sake yeast stock, and the aging process has given it a round umami taste. This sake was tasted along with the Junmai Ginjo I posted earlier. We were there when the store opened on the first day of tasting and sales, so all the sakes were unsealed, so we were able to sample them in fresh condition. I recommend going on Wednesday when the store opens 😆. It is Rokumaru with 60% rice polishing ratio. It is the same as Shinomine. It has more richness and umami than Junmai Ginjo. It is suitable for warming up.

I have had a little Mutsu Hassen, but Mutsu Otokoyama is completely new to me! A while ago, I had the impression that Mutsu Hassen lost all its flavor after the second day, but recently it has been able to keep its flavor quite well. What do you think of Mutsu Otokoyama? The aroma is a botanical scent similar to that of grass or earth, but only slightly. But when you take a sip, you will be surprised! It has a gorgeous capsule-like aroma similar to that of Mutsu Hassen! I don't think I've ever experienced such an aroma with such a strong standing aroma! The taste is definitely less sweet, but has a good umami. The taste is certainly not too sweet, but it has a good umami flavor, and yet it has a gorgeous overtone. It is dry, but popular, like a "Sanjyo," "EXILE," or "Ishihara Gundan"? Something like that. I don't know if the aroma has calmed down or if the taste has mellowed, but it is easier to drink and tastes even better from the second day! It's definitely dry, this one! It has a gorgeous ginjo aroma and a sharp dry taste! This is the kind of delicious sake that goes down so smoothly that you find yourself drinking it all up.

Sweet and dry drink comparison 🍶✨✨✨. I went to Urahasen last year. This year I'm going to Uraotosan😁😁. Dry and refreshing It is a good place to enjoy a meal. Personally Urahasen for sake alone 🍶. For pairing, I'd go for Ura Otokoyama I guess 😊🍶🍶.
