Sake purchased during a trip back to my hometown in Gunma. In the past 10 years or so, there has been an increase in the variety of delicious sake in Gunma, which was unthinkable before. I have the impression that the young master brewers are doing a particularly good job.
Higen" is new to me, but it has a fresh taste that I like. I would like to buy it again when I go back to my hometown.
I had it with sushi as a food sake 🙏.
Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of it!
It has a delicious rice flavor, but not too sweet and refreshing.
The texture is just right as it is lightly nigori (lightly cloudy).
I thought it is a well-balanced sake that does not kill the delicate taste when served with sushi, yet it has a delicious aroma when it goes down your throat🙆.
I bought it at Asama Sake Brewery, where I stopped by on my way to Manza Onsen!
I often drink "Higen", but this was the first time I saw a nigori type, so I decided to buy it right away. I bought some "Koudou Shinko" fried rice crackers at the same time and had them as an accompaniment.
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was of pears and green apples.
The taste is crisp, dry, and mainly dry and astringent. The slight sweetness of nigori (nigori is a type of sweet sake made from rice crackers) adds a nice accent to the taste.
It is in tune with the savory flavor of the sake rice cracker, and it is a perfect match for the sake rice cracker as it resets the oil!
The sake rice crackers are perfect with the sake rice crackers, and the oil is reset, making for a perfect match!
Overall, it has a strong sense of bitterness, but I personally find this tightening feeling addictive and delicious👍.
The light dry taste is similar to that of "Akagisan" and I really like it!
I hope to stop by again when I visit the Shima or Manza area 😌.
It is not a hair color of fragrance, but rather a name derived from the desire to "make sake that customers dream of tasting again.
It's not a hair color. It has a very plummy heady aroma that I want to keep smelling forever. It is spicy compared to the plum liquor-like aroma! No sweetness. It is full-bodied, not light, but crisp and easy to drink.
On the way home from the hospital, and in the rain due to a typhoon, I stopped by the Tatebayashi Ekimae store 😆.
I ordered Higen, a Gunma sake that was not on the menu 🍶.
Later, I noticed that AsamaVind was written in three-dimensional letters on the left side of the label.
Hiragana label that seems to have been recently released. The letters are written even unevenly and were clearly visible after condensation.
The aroma is little but sweet. Pale sweet and sour when chilled, soft sweetness lingers gradually when near room temperature. Perhaps due to the hue of the label, one could sense grapes in the distance.
As the label says that the pairing was carefully thought out, it can be matched with various dishes. The taste is a little different from Hakurakusei and Kurakusei.
