This is your first issue. While on a short trip, I went shopping at a liquor store I don't usually go to. When I was wondering what to buy, I was recommended to buy a bottle of sake. I was told that it had a reputation for being the best in Tochigi recently. It seems that there are only a few stores in Aichi that carry it, so I bought it. It has little sweetness and a sour taste. It is quite fizzy and tingles on the tongue. It seems to go well with meals. We enjoyed it deliciously.

This season, the brewery has begun to claim its Edo-bari (return to Edo), and we can sense its stronger commitment as a brewery than ever before. I have enjoyed it before, but this one tastes so good that I tend to buy it whenever I see it these days. The balance of acidity and flavor is really good. I enjoyed it very much.

It is still cold but we will have spring sake. The label says that the sake is rather dry, but I wonder if it is the sweetness of the rice curd or if it is really dry. I drank it with my mother. I drank it with my mother, who said it was easy to drink. The best thing about it is its great cost performance. The world is in the midst of a price hike, but the fact that this sake can be purchased for only 1,100 yen is a great corporate effort by Yamanashi Meizou. We are very grateful.

This was also recommended to us as a sake that goes well with our meal. I like hiragana Takachiyo, but this is my first time to try Kanji Takachiyo. It is not as fruity as the hiragana, but it goes well with food.

First issue #1 @ 2025 It was recommended to me as a sake that goes well with food. It is a mild sake with a strong rice flavor. It is not assertive, so it really goes with everything. I made a lot of oden this week, so I will be serving it with oden for the time being.

I had this sake before and enjoyed it. I was going to buy it if I came across it again. The timing was perfect, as I was buying at the end of the year, and they had it in stock that day. I enjoyed it while comparing it with Hatsukame's Kasumishu, which had already been opened earlier. I think it is slightly more fruity than Hatsukame. Both are delicious and hard to tell the difference.

Happy New Year 🎍⛩. We are starting this year's sake with good luck. The owl on the label is a bird of good luck that is connected to the words "no hardship" and "good fortune. And the rice used is Asahi rice 🌅, which also seems to bring good luck. We had it with osechi and ozoni. It has a nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. It is perfect for a mealtime drink.

The last sake to be served this year was Senkou. SENKOKU was reborn this year with the theme of "Edo" (Edo means Edo is the old name for Tokyo). I saw it at a liquor store and bought it. It has a refreshing sweetness like melon while retaining the sourness that is typical of Sengoku. It is still good. As an engineer, I was impressed by the phrase, "Let's cherish what is good, not what is new or old.

Year-end party with usual junior members. Drinking at home at my junior's house. I am still trying to evangelize sweet sake to my junior who likes dry sake. Melon type? Melon type? Sweetness of melon or melon-like? The fizziness is quite strong. Good as always. This is the last of the Kangiku I had in the fridge. I will probably buy it again when I see it at the liquor store.

I was saving it to open it for Christmas, but Christmas was a day late because of all the chaos😅. It has a perfect balance of sweetness, sourness and bitterness. I think it's a little bit sweet because of the oli (oli is a small amount of sweetness). But it went well with light snacks and meals. It's good!

Purchased in bulk at my usual liquor store for the New Year's holiday. I immediately open a bottle. I see that the illustration is done by a person named Nekoyuko. I wonder if it is the same person who designed the Nyan cup. It is a cute picture. It is refreshingly sweet and slightly effervescent. The finish is dry. Delicious 😋.

The Brewing Forest was delicious, so we have high expectations for this rebranded version. Compared to Kangiku, it seems a bit sweet because the balance of Kangiku is too exquisite. This is completely a matter of personal taste, so it depends on the person. It is a delicious sake 🍶.

I had kept three bottles of Kangiku in the fridge because it is a delicious iron plate. I decided it was time to drink them, so I opened the bottle from the oldest one. Well, it's still good. The sweetness is very refreshing. It has a refreshing sweetness, like a pear or something. And the bitterness finishes it off. This is really good. I enjoyed it a little at a time.

400 Posts ‼️ I've been drinking sake a little less frequently lately, but I've been doing well for myself. I was wondering what to make for my milestone sake, and I received this sake from a friend. Thank you so much for everything. It is the sake that was drunk by the father and son of the liquor store that saved us when we were almost lost in Lake Yamanaka. I was surprised to hear that it had been commercialized🫢My friend doesn't drink sake, so when he gave me a box of Fuji-Nishiki, I wondered what it was. I thought I would drink it at next year's camp, but I was allowed to open it on this occasion. It is a mild sake in both aroma and taste. It is also tame when heated. I think it was used in a motsu nabe (a hot pot of fish and vegetables) in the movie, but I will have it with buta-miso nabe. It is delicious.

Purchased at a liquor store I hadn't stopped by in a while. I had it cold at first, but it didn't taste very good... Maybe it was my stuffy nose. After I warmed it up, it had just the right amount of acidity and was delicious.

I was somewhat attracted by the label and bought it. As the label says, it is a junmai ginjo, with little bitterness. It was not enough for me, and it was getting cold, so I warmed it up. The aroma and acidity became more pronounced and tasty.

There was an opening I had never seen before, so I bought it. It tasted sour and sweet like sake made with white malted rice. It tasted like sweet white wine. Kaiun always has a great balance of sweetness, umami, and bitterness, but this one was a bit adventurous. It was very different from the taste I imagined.

I wanted to drink a 13% Kamo Kanehide, so I went to a store that carried it, which I hadn't been to recently. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I felt bad about leaving without buying anything, so I bought this one. The aroma was not so good when drunk cold, but it became very tasty when it was warmed up.
