This was my first time to drink Kagoshima sake. I thought it might be too strong, but it was easy to enjoy.

This is one of the bottles that was sold in a set with Tobiroki at Hasegawa sake shop, it was made in October 2020, so I guess they used Tobiroki to clear this stock 😅. I'm not a big fan of the Satsuma Masamune, but I'm not a big fan of the Tobiroki either. I was a bit worried because it's a raw stored sake, almost a year after production, but there were no quality issues 😄. Rather, I didn't feel the peculiarity that I felt when I drank Junmai Ginjo before, and it tastes better than that time 🌟. It has a slight sweetness, a strong alcohol feeling and a spiciness that comes down the throat, not very distinctive but enough for everyday drinking. Cold sake is the best 😚

Kikusui Shuzo has been a customer of mine for the Kikusui Funaguchi Ichiban Shibori, which is available at convenience stores and supermarkets before I started using Sake No Wa. I remember that it was a pioneer of canned raw sake. Thanks to this technology, we now have more opportunities to offer unpasteurized sake to the world, and I think this is an immeasurable achievement in the sake world. Gorohachi [Nigori Sake] [Autumn/Winter only Alcohol content 21%. 100% Niigata rice I left Iyari-ri for tomorrow, so I opened a bottle of Gorohachi which was in the refrigerator. Purchased at a supermarket in Karuizawa. I did not expect much...but I experienced the power of Nagano sake🍶...aroma: a faint sweet aroma of rice, a clear sweet bitterness...the bitterness is just right and does not bother me...it is delicious😋...but it is also delicious😋 when drunk as is... ...but it really comes into its own as a food sake! Suehiro Shuzo's Genzai. They also won a gold medal at the New Sake Competition for their Genzai daiginjo, but this is not that award-winning sake, but an affordable special junmai. It starts off with a piquant and refreshing sweet and sour taste! The taste is powerful with a strong sense of presence, but the alcohol content of 15 degrees makes it easy to drink and enjoy 👌. We are looking forward to adding this sake to our lineup next year and beyond 😊.

Sake brewed at Suehiro Shuzo's Kaei warehouse. When I hear the name "Genzai," I think of the daiginjo that was entered in the sake competition. I hesitate to buy it because it is a bit expensive, but this special junmai sake (nama-shu, hi-iru) is reasonably priced and easy to pick up. I am looking forward to the next year, when there will be more varieties of sake. As for the sake, the aroma is like apples. When I drank it, I smelled cemedine😅. The sake is fresh and has a tangy, gaseous taste. The sweetness is moderate and the acidity is strong. I thought maybe I don't like cemedine, but I drank more than half of it in no time and regretted it. It is easy to drink. The second day, the cemedine is also good. If this is the case, it's a special pure Cemedine.

This one was given to me in return for sake I sent to my boss, and it's my first Fukuoka Prefecture sake! I didn't know what to choose when it came to Fukuoka sake, so I'm very grateful to be able to drink it in this form! It is a well-balanced and delicious sake. The most wonderful thing about this sake is that it is fire-aged, so it is hard to lose this flavor. It tastes great even after a few days. Although there is sweetness, it does not bother you too much because the main flavor is umami. What is this feeling of being able to drink without getting tired of it? It is not so much sourness, bitterness, or astringency, and it is strange that it is smooth but somehow deep and earthy. Actually, I forgot to post this post after drinking it, but I had this one for New Year's Day. This kind of aromatic and light sake was definitely a good match for Japanese dishes like Osechi. My first Fukuoka sake was a simple and good sake.
