The famous sake from Yoshino, Nara, Shojo no Oni👹san series❣️. The founder of Shugendo, Yakushokaku, was served by a couple of demons: the husband demon was Zendo Oni (the former demon) and the wife was Myodo Oni (the latter demon). This is the first time I bought a sake named after that Zendo Oni 😆. I was originally under the impression that Shoto was a fruity, easy-drinking sake, but this Zendo Oni is so rich and full-bodied that it is hard to believe it is a Jungin of Gohyakumangoku 😳. It has a nice melon feeling and a full-bodied flavor reminiscent of Tamagawa❣️. By the third day, the ripe fruit-like sweetness is added, and the unique flavor is irresistible 😇 I'm enjoying it chippy, chippy, chippy😇 All that crosses our path are demons 👹. But if it's demons like this, I want to see them again. I wonder if his wife will be the next demon (not my wife 😅)

Ponshukan Nagaoka Station Store drinking groupie 8th cup. I wanted to try a strong dry sake, so I chose Kashiwa Dew. I thought it would be okay because I am used to drinking Sanzenmori, but I didn't feel it was that spicy despite its high alcohol content. It did have a cheese-like sourness, but it was not strong. A gift from Sawanoizumi The Jun Dai I drank before was a Miyagi sake, beautifully light and dry, and I felt (selfishly) the earnestness of the toji (master brewer). I had an image of a modest, but firm, light, dry Kura. And then there is this special pure Sawanoizumi. It does not have much of a topping aroma, but the mouthfeel is surprisingly sweet and umami! It is sweet to the level of the Hitakami, and the robust umami is also very tasty! It has a light acidity and bitterness, followed by a refreshing sharpness. It's good! This is good! The price is relatively cheap, about 1300 yen for a four-pack, but it is convincing enough! Ishikoshi Brewery. I underestimated you. Sorry about that. In preparation for the upcoming season, I bought a copy of Nonbei Yokocho, which I also saw at Sake no Wa ✨. We also bought a cup of sake at a nearby liquor store to check the operation and had it hot ✨. Sipped at room temperature, it is a refreshingly spicy sake with a deliciously mellow flavor. Warmed to lukewarm, it has a tingling sensation on the tongue. Hot-warming lightens the taste and makes it refreshing to drink! I have had hot sake before, but I was indifferent to the brand and taste and drank it with the mindset that the alcohol would not linger the next day, so I would like to taste it this year 🥰.

Slurp kaa - tongue tingling. Alcohol content 21 degrees! I bought it on the way home from overtime work. Kikusui Shuzo has been a customer of mine for the Kikusui Funaguchi Ichiban Shibori, which is available at convenience stores and supermarkets before I started using Sake No Wa. I remember that it was a pioneer of canned raw sake. Thanks to this technology, we now have more opportunities to offer unpasteurized sake to the world, and I think this is an immeasurable achievement in the sake world. I could go on and on, but according to the label, this sake is classified as a "liqueur". At any rate, I'll note in my memorandum that it was a sweet and dangerous drink.

This is one of the bottles that was sold in a set with Tobiroki at Hasegawa sake shop, it was made in October 2020, so I guess they used Tobiroki to clear this stock 😅. I'm not a big fan of the Satsuma Masamune, but I'm not a big fan of the Tobiroki either. I was a bit worried because it's a raw stored sake, almost a year after production, but there were no quality issues 😄. Rather, I didn't feel the peculiarity that I felt when I drank Junmai Ginjo before, and it tastes better than that time 🌟. It has a slight sweetness, a strong alcohol feeling and a spiciness that comes down the throat, not very distinctive but enough for everyday drinking. Cold sake is the best 😚
