Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO⑭
Last but not least, Shojo, it's been a super long time since I've been to Shojo.
I think it's been since we tasted it at Harukas in 2019 or so.
According to Nemuchi's advance information, all of them are aged for one year this time!
I drank
Zendoiki Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
Clean and a little fruity, with a sense of ripeness.
Myodo-ki Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu
It has just the right amount of sweetness, but also has a strong umami flavor.
Gogo Onigami Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
It felt lighter on the palate, but not as sweet as the first two.
Koukaku Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
Forgot to take a picture💦.
I bought and drank this in the past. I reviewed it as nutty back then, but this time it seemed pretty sweet and tasty.
I think I drank some of the later demons too 🤔.
I couldn't talk to the brewer because there were people there all the time talking 😅
There are many more breweries I haven't tried but that's it for this time!
Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store Sake Expo 2025 SAKE EXPO⑥
We were able to drink all of them before, but this time they brought all of them that have been laid up for a year.
Shojo Junmai Unfiltered Nama-shu Myodo-ki Kinuhikari
The corners of the mellow flavor are removed and the roundness of the flavor increases.
◯Shousho Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Zendouki Gohyakumangoku
The mouthfeel is refreshing, and the slightly chocolaty taste gives it a matured feel.
◯Shousho Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Zendo Onigami Yamadanishiki
A little spicy.
◯Shousho Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Go-ki Gohyakumangoku
The mouthfeel is refreshing, but the aftertaste is a little bitter.
◯Shousho Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu Kozumi Yumacho The first impact is light and refreshing.
I don't remember the only ogre that wasn't here...did I forget to drink it?
Moderately floral, with a robust flavor typical of the original sake. It is so strong that it is hard to believe that it is Gohyakumangoku. Although it is a junmai ginjo, it is not inferior at all to junmai daiginjo Gooni. Delicious, highly recommended.
This is one of the Oni series.
This is the sake I had decided to drink at Umasshu.
There are three bottles: Mae-oni, Koukaku, and Go-oni.
The Mae-oni is the husband and the Go-oni is the wife.
Ozunu is the childhood name of En no Gyoja, the founder of Shugendo.
Interesting!
It is delicious with just the right amount of sweetness.
He was a kind demon.
I will try the other two next time.
Happy New Year, Pekka Ru, and congratulations on your check-in at ㊗️300 🎉 Good to be a Kiri number with interesting drinks 😋 and best wishes for the new year 👍.
Masaaki Sapporo, Happy New Year!
Sake is really interesting.
I am still watching videos about sake while lying down lol.
I look forward to working with you again this year!
