This is the recovery sake from the Furuya Sake Brewery, after they were devastated by a fire. They made 2,000 bottles with "Hitogokochi" rice they were just able to get from the local area. For me, it wasn't about the taste; I drank it as a local showing my support. ( It was delicious, of course!)

The sake that Rafa ordered. I exchanged it for the sake I ordered and drank some. The rice is said to be modified Nobukou. Unlike the straight kumi-style sake, it is calm and has a mild sweetness. It is more like a classic sake. The official website says it is about -7, so I think it is more on the sweet side. If you think of it as the standard sake of the brewery, it is quite high. It seems that Rafa has a connection with Satte City, where Toyoake's brewery is located, and I thought such an episode was interesting.

Toyoake in Satte, Saitama Prefecture. When I tasted it last week at Koedo Kurasato in Kawagoe, I felt its obvious individuality and immediately bought a 4-goupe bottle because I wanted to drink it at home. It is a fire-aged junmai sake with a slightly sweet, dark flavor and a modern acidity. It has character. The subtitle and the message on the back label are also good. The waka poem written on the box? on the box is also nice. The slight coloring is due to the limited amount of charcoal used in the filtration process.

Yesterday, I went to my favorite izakaya "我" ♡♡♡. I drank a variety of drinks in the all-you-can-drink 1 hour 1500 yen (*^^*) It was crowded, so I couldn't order at a high pitch, so I could only drink 9 kinds out of the 20 or so available...(-_-...) Only one sake brewed last year was made by Touji Nakamura, who came from Takeuchi Shuzo. The sake he brought this time was the same one, and he said he couldn't drink it anymore. And this is where time ran out. It took us about 1 hour and 45 minutes to go around the venue. On the way back, we took the train to visit a liquor store in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture. The owner of the liquor store was just visiting the same event, so we spent about an hour talking with the chatty owner, and then we safely returned home.

Hanpukai Sake The label says Kiku-zakari, the sakenowa says Tokikumori. I believe the label. Last year it had a classic impression, but this year it feels modern fruity. Maybe it was my physical condition, but it was different from my image. I enjoyed it very much. I drank it while playing mahjong and got very drunk. Double soup with pork and beef bones? Is it basically pork? It was thick and tasty. It went well with thin noodles.

Today's sake is Nagano sake, from the Shinshu secret hanpukai. I can't seem to get this kanji to come up on my kanji converter, so I'll just write it in hiragana 🤣.
