Ibaraki Pref. Sashima-gun. Hagiwara Sake Brewery Co. Toku-masamune Junmai-shu. We received a set of seven single-bottle bottles, so we will drink them. Here is the sixth bottle. I didn't think I could drink it again since I drank it at the Japanese Sake Festival. I will drink it cold. The color is clear with a yellowish tinge. The nose has a slightly ripe fruity aroma with hints of honey and caramel. On the palate, a slight ripeness aroma passes through to the nose, followed by a gentle Junmai-like dry acidity. It has a slightly aged feel, with concentrated umami, a chocolate-like flavor, and a faded brown rice-like aftertaste that lingers on the tongue. Nice Masamune that has matured quite nicely. Ingredients:Rice(domestic),Rice Koji(domestic) Polishing ratio: 60 Alcohol content:15

Refreshing, sweet and sour. You can't feel the alcohol. It's more like juice. It can be likened to plum wine with water or apple cider vinegar mixed with water I remember being made to drink it as a child because it was good for me...

My first Tokumasamune from Ibaraki Prefecture. Yesterday I drank it chilled, but today I drank it hot. The peculiar taste I felt yesterday turned out to be a nice soft sweetness when heated. This is the interesting thing about sake.

☀️ Masamune hunters go today🍶. This store has sake from all over the country 😳No Kagoshima or Okinawa for sake, but all other prefectures are available 🤗. Kagoshima and Okinawa are always stocked with Shochu Awamori 👍. I came here thinking that with all this they must have some Masamune 🙄 I looked at the menu and thought, well.... I looked at the menu, let's see, Masamune...Masamune...Masamune.... There it is 💡Masamune found: ❗️ It's a great selection: ❗️ Let's go 😁. It's sticky and heavy sweet 😊. It's like candy at the fair 🍭. I thought it might be sticky, but it goes down your throat nicely 🙄. Nice Masamune👍

Past Log I was curious about it after drinking it at the Ibaraki Jizake Tour on the 7th, found it at the Ibaraki Jizake Bar and drank it again. Aroma of bran at first Then orange aroma. Slightly sweet and refreshing The bran smell may be an off-flavor, but it is strangely delicious! Addictive flavor!

It is clear with yellowish tints and has aromas of yogurt, cooked rice, pear, and honeysuckle. The attack is rather strong, with mild acidity, moderate sweetness and a rather short finish.

Mouthfeel is easy to drink like thick water. Minus the alcohol feeling that sticks in the throat. Enjoyable on the time axis, but the second half is tough.

When did Sunday nights stop feeling special? Every day I fool myself with alcohol to cover up my sorrow of working shifts. How happy I am to be able to drink good sake, even today. This is a pattern of changing rice. It's interesting, isn't it? Is it the same? I feel it's special to be able to drink it only at that time. Two bottles side by side! I was given a choice between the two, so I chose both. The order is the opposite of the picture, but I started with Hitachi-Nishiki. It's refreshing. I thought it was a Sasanishiki type because of the name "Nishiki," but I was not aware that it was a Koshihikari type, a well-known type of rice. The most recent was Tsuki no Hikari. I had a taste of it before dinner, which I don't seem to remember drinking. Now, I think I prefer this one. Omachi. I won't say that they are too robust to be drunk side by side. It's not so much that it's too strong, but it's more like a sake, and I think it's really nice that it's so refreshing. If you prefer sweetness, this is the one for you. Sake is really great. And today, too, I would like to express my gratitude.
