The aroma doesn't stand up so well.
But the taste is mellow, with just the right amount of sweetness and just the right amount of sourness, and the sourness doesn't seem to be washing out the sweetness. This is what I like about Sairai!
It has a beautiful sweetness and is not habit-forming. But it's different from the beautiful sweetness of Shinshu Kamerei or other varieties.
