A gift from my brother at home the other day. It was chilly, so I paired it with pork shabu-shabu. It was a little high at 17%, so I tasted it slowly at first and then served it on the rocks in the latter half of the bottle. I enjoyed the mildness of the wine.

This is another sake that was mentioned in this month's special issue of dancyu on sake that tastes good at "room temperature". Niigata Prefecture has many breweries, and there are still a few that I have yet to try. There are many breweries in Niigata that I have yet to try. I'd like to try it at room temperature or lukewarm.

On our Golden Week car trip, we visited Tanaka Sake Brewery, which brews dry Japanese sake in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture. I had been looking forward to visiting this brewery after seeing Seiji Rokkaku's drinking iron. ✌️ It was fun to hear about the story behind the filming 😂. Fruity ginjo aroma reminiscent of 🍎👌. Slightly sweet at first, then wonderfully crisp and dry! Delicious 😋😋😋😋😋 🎶

The aroma is sweet and gorgeous. The palate is well-balanced with light, soft sweetness, acidity, and spiciness. The aftertaste is slightly sweet from the rice, but it does not linger. Alcohol 15%. Sake meter degree +3 Acidity: Slightly low Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a sake from Naoetsu on a business trip to Naoetsu, the third kind of sake I had and it was delicious, though I have no other impression of it.

It is served lukewarm with motsu-ni. Motsu-ni is one of my favorite dishes. I remember the taste of Nohaka that I used to drink when my wife's parents' house, where no one lives now, was lively. I remember it fondly. Noh hawk, Kuromatsu Honjozo Tanaka Shuzo(Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture)

Echigo-Kenshin SAKE Festival 2024⑥. Next is Nohaka. It is a sake with a heated sake image, isn't it? In fact, we had a reservation at Gun-chan in front of Joetsu Station for this night, but the heated sake was from Nohtaka.

Niigata Sake no Jin OSAKA15 Nohtaka] booth. This brewery is located in front of Tanihama Station on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway and is the third oldest brewery in Niigata Prefecture. I had a dry impression when I drank it before. Nohtaka Junmai Daiginjo. When I asked for a sweet sake, this was the one I got. It is sweet and full-bodied at first, and has a refreshing chocolate bitter taste in the middle. Noh Taka Kuromatsu Honjozo It was more light and dry at room temperature, but it didn't seem that spicy. Nohtaka Junmai Nama Nama sake Strong acidity and a very sour taste. Fresh and sharp.

Niigata Sake no Jin OSAKA⑭ I know the name and drank it once, but it didn't leave much of an impression on me. There was a person who looked younger than the other breweries. We drank Nohtaka Junmai Daiginjo Fruity and sweet 😋. Nohtaka Kuromatsu Honjozo Slightly spicy Nohtaka Junmai Nama Nama Sake Sour and clear. I've read reviews that it's quite dry, but I didn't mind it that much. It might be different if you drink it at home 😅
