My first Kurosawa. Just after opening the bottle, the cork blew up to the ceiling. When you pour it, it fires strongly. When you drink it, it is refreshing like a carbonated drink. Immediately afterwards, a strong flavor and a strong alcohol feeling rushes in. There is no sweetness, and the mellowness of the umami and nigori is addictive. It is a very delicious sake. I enjoyed the innocent classic so I bought it with the intention of repeating it. Smells like lactic acid, baby formula, and uncut melon. The melon is well felt through the uninspired mouthfeel, then the shriveled, cold sweet and sour fruitiness, all gone by the time you swallow and a little astringent. Overall, refreshing. Delicious. I've had it for drinking out of doors, Edo Kaijo! Is it brewed in Shiba, Minato-ku? Dry! Is the alcohol content high? I thought it would be 14 degrees. Purchased on a business trip to Tokyo to try it. Almost a year later, I finally opened the bottle. It is sweet, with a hint of acidity, maybe the work of wine yeast. Finally, the rice flavor tastes like Koshihikari from Tango. Bats for sure. The 22nd year was brewed with Italian rice called Carnaroli, which I wanted to drink.
