CWS. I've been interested in Shiro-Ko for a while, so I bought it at Edion along with the Tazake zodiac label. Low alcohol. The aroma has a strong alcohol smell. I bought it for a souvenir, but a customer traveling from Hokkaido🐴 gave me some chocolates and I didn't have any on hand, so I had to rush to the store and drink it with everyone, including my sister🥂. The third drink at my favorite yakitori restaurant was Gizaemon Natsu-damon, which I had during a break in the drinking Shinsei. I got a bottle of Senkyu's "Kirifuri" on a business trip to Utsunomiya the other day...fruity aroma, strong acidity and bitterness? It has a fruity aroma, acidity, and a strong bitterness. I think it's a good sake for a meal...I had sardine nigiri and on the second day, I had yakitori as a side dish...I feel this sake is better when the bottle is opened. It has some peculiarities...but...it's delicious!

This is a piece of bread I bought on my way back from a trip to Kirifuri Kogen. I thought it was the perfect name for a souvenir, but I was surprised to find it was made by Senkou 😳. I've been storing it at room temperature for a while now because it's been heat-treated. But I thought it would be better to drink it cold, so I put it in the fridge and drank it. The best thing about this product is that it has the gas and acidity that I like, even if it has been heated.

I was a little puzzled as to whether or not I should post it here, but it came up right away in a brand search, so I guess it's okay. This is "Doburoku" from Tokyo Station Hasegawa Sake Brewery. In the mouth, there is a fine gassy sensation, and the umami and sweetness of the rice spread to the back of the tongue. There is almost no sourness or bitterness, and the texture is smooth. There is none of the rice glutinousness found in other doburoku. The alcohol content is 7%, so it is suisui while savoring the flavor of the rice. The "akaba saba" (red mackerel?) is simmered in miso and served with dinner. I took it out of the fridge because we had something called "red mackerel" simmered in miso on the dinner table, but it was gone soon after. It was delicious when I drank it at the restaurant, but it is still a delicious sake to drink at home.
