I recently asked a liquor store for recommendations for more summer sake and was told that this is a popular choice. Today it will be Koshi's summer nama. I've had Koshi many times already, but this one was just perfect because I had not had it yet and wanted to try it. I immediately tried it and it tastes really good, but most importantly, I got the impression that it is an easy to drink sake. I don't really feel the alcohol content, but the label says it's a solid 16 degrees. This is one of those drinks that you have to be careful not to drink too much of. I will probably be drinking mainly summer sake for a while to come, but I feel like I hit the jackpot from the start. It was delicious.

Hi Chaso 😃. I bought the same Koshi yesterday 🤗. I haven't hit this summer sake very often, so I'm looking forward to drinking it after reading your review 😊.

Hello Jay & Nobby✋! I think most summer sake has a strong acidity, but I got the impression that this one is not that strong, especially if you chill it well in the fridge, it tastes refreshing 😊.

I bought this sake at a liquor store because I thought the label was cool. Today it is Mine-no-Hakubai, a sake from Niigata. Hishiko might be more familiar to younger people, but Mine-no-Hakubai is more comfortable for old men. When you drink it, it tastes like a melon. It is very easy to drink. However, there is a peculiar aroma. It also has a unique aroma. I think it is closer to Fukushima sake than to Niigata sake. Personally, I felt it was similar to Karahashi. It is a modern type of sake, so I think it is suitable for everyone. It was a perfect sake for the hot season.

As the weather has been hot lately, I wanted to drink a refreshing sake, and while shopping at a liquor store, a bottle was recommended to me. Today's bottle is a super dry Harushika. I prefer dry sake, so when I opened the bottle, a fruity aroma wafted through the air. When you drink it, it feels dry for a moment, but soon the umami, sourness, and bitterness follow. It has a nice sharpness, and in a good sense, nothing is left behind. I think it is a very high level sake. I think it may be the best dry sake I have had this year. I had an image of Harushika as having a good dry taste, but it seems I was right. It was very refreshing.

I drank only local sake this GW, but I decided that Tengu Mai would be the last one I would like to buy. If you search for this sake on Sake-no-wa, you will find a lot of reviews. I immediately tried it and found it to be a gorgeous and easy to drink sake. It is a modern type and delicious. My image of Tengu Mai is that of a Yamahai sake that can be drunk hot and sipped, but this is the type of sake that is delicious cold. I think even sake beginners can enjoy drinking this sake. If you enjoy this sake, you should try the Yamahai Junmai. I think you will be able to experience the breadth and interest of sake. As expected of Tengumai. It was delicious👍.

Today it will be Tedorigawa. It is a local sake. Like the previous Youho, I tend to put it off because of the peace of mind that I can buy it at any time, but I wanted to drink mainly local sake during the GW season. When the bottle is opened, it has a fruity aroma. The aroma is one of the characteristics of Tedorigawa. The taste is reminiscent of green apples. This is delicious. To be honest, I had the impression that sake breweries using Ishigawamon were not very good, but this one exceeded my expectations. Next time I'm asked for a recommendation for Tedorigawa, this will be it. It will be added to my list of favorites 😊.

I've been feeling tired lately, but I'm finally ready for GW. To relieve my fatigue, I felt the urge to drink a strong local sake, so I went to a nearby liquor store. What caught my eye was Youho. Come to think of it, I haven't had one yet this year. I decided that this was not a good idea, so I bought some. I immediately tried it and was pleasantly surprised by its umami flavor, which is typical of Yuho. When it is cold, the umami and sharpness are pleasant. When it is close to room temperature, sweetness appears. This is also good. Today I helped my mother in the fields, so it soaks into my tired body. I'm feeling pretty good, so I'm going to bed after uploading this. It was a fulfilling day 💪.

Today it will be Tenpoichi. It is a Hiroshima Prefecture sake. I was curious about the name "Ringo Star" and bought it. When I poured it into a glass, it was golden in color and looked like apple nectar. The aroma is also fruity. When I sipped it, I was convinced that the name "Ringo Star" was the right one. I think the sake level was -30, but the sweetness was not too strong, so I could drink it for a long time. I thought I had drunk Tenpoichi before, but looking back at my past records, this was my first time. It was really good, so I'll buy some more in the future if I find something I'm interested in. It was delicious👍

Today we will be serving Nagurayama. I like the Aizu Shikon sake here and drink it from time to time, but it has been quite a while since I last had a glass of Nagurayama. The first thing that caught my attention was the label and the name. It makes me want to pick it up anyway. Do you need permission to use the name? The whole thing feels like a neon town from the Showa era 😊. The taste is sweetness first, with good flavor and acidity. It has no peculiarities and is very easy to drink. It feels fresh enough even though it is fire-brewed. It strikes my taste buds and I think this is a good purchase. I am very satisfied.

Today it will be Shinomine. It is a sake from Nara Prefecture. This will be Akaban Oumachi. I was looking for an Omachi sake at a liquor store, and I saw it. I opened the bottle as soon as I got home and found it had a fruity top-fragrance aroma. As expected, it is a very well-balanced sake. I served it with today's side dishes of unohana and kiriboshi-daikon (dried strips of radish), but I think it would be better with Western food. However, it was tasty enough, so I was satisfied with my day. As expected of Shinomine 😊.

I had been sober for 10 days for a medical checkup, and now that it's over, I've chosen something delicious. Today's wine is Miyamanishiki from Shinshu Kamerei. I think I have probably posted this before, but it is still delicious. Personally, I like this Miyamanishiki the best among all the Shinshu Kamerei wines. I don't know the result of the medical checkup yet, but I think I'll be fine since I've lost some weight through dieting. I want to continue drinking good sake, so I want to take good care of my health.

I have been wanting to try this sake for a while now, but have been putting it off because I haven't had a chance to try it. Today, it is Mitsui no Kotobuki's Dai-harakuchi. As it is called "Dai-karakuchi," it has a very refreshing taste with excellent sharpness. I think this is a common impression among all of us. Personally, I felt it tasted best when it was close to room temperature. It is spicy at its fullest as soon as you take it out of the refrigerator, but as the temperature rises, the spiciness is replaced by a delicious umami flavor. I served it with firefly squid for the first time this year, and it went very well with it. It was a model of a dry sake and very tasty.

Today, it is Kame no Umi, which has a reputation that is growing by the day. It is a sake from Nagano Prefecture. For some reason, I found it at a liquor store in my neighborhood, which usually only carries local sake. It must have been released around the end of the year. When I opened the bottle and took a sip, I felt the sweetness and umami that is typical of Kame no Kai. It has more alcohol than the seasonal version of Kame no Kai, which seems to come up the throat. There is also a strong sourness and bitterness. I have written a lot about it, but in a word, it is delicious, and I want you to try it. My personal impression is that it is a mainstream sake in Nagano Prefecture. It is close to Shinshu Kamerei and Daishinshu. At any rate, it was a satisfying day 😊.

Today it will be Bikuyo's Tama label. It is a sake from Kochi Prefecture. It just so happens that I've been drinking a lot of Kochi Prefecture sake lately. The initial aroma is very refreshing. When you actually drink it, it has a citrusy overtone, a slight sweetness, and a solid umami and acidity. The sharpness is outstanding. In a good sense, nothing is left behind. I drank it with a side dish of this strong habit of cotton gut, but the raw smell of the cotton gut was washed away. This is my first time drinking Tama Label, and it is delicious. It is a model of a clear, dry sake. I will repeat this next year.

I wanted to drink some sake from Kyushu area after a long time, so I went to a liquor store and found Toichi, which had just arrived at the right time, and decided to buy it. So today I will be drinking Toichi Junmai Sake. It is 100% Yamadanishiki from Saga Prefecture, and I am happy to see that it is reasonably priced. It has a fruity, umami type flavor with a bit of citrus. It has a great balance of umami, acidity, and bitterness, and you can drink as much as you want. Toichi's draft is really good 😃. I tend to focus on Koeikiku and Nabeshima when it comes to Saga sake, but I guess that's Toichi for you. It's got real power👍.

I picked up a sake I had never seen before at a liquor store and found it was SENKOKU. So today, it is SENKOKU GREEN NATURES. When I opened the bottle and took a sip, I could tell it was SENKYO. It also has a little sweetness. I think it is a typical SENKYO sake, but to be honest, I felt it was not enough. I think thin is the best word to describe it. I can understand that this is the concept of this sake, but it did not suit me. However, it is definitely low-alcohol and easy to drink, so if you like that type of sake, you may want to try it.

This bottle was recommended to me by the manager the moment I walked into the liquor store I frequent, saying that I had come to the right place. Today it will be Aizu Homare no Karahashi. I have to say I'll take one then 😅 if the manager says with a smile 😃 that the recommendation just came in. I was skeptical and took a sip...this is indeed delicious! It has a melon-like aroma, umami, sourness, and bitterness with a good alcohol taste. To be honest, I was rather shocked. I'm going to add it to my favorites list: ☺️ I will definitely buy it again next year.

Today is Tenmei. I had a hard time deciding which one to choose, but I chose Sango-go because I like Kame-no-o. When I drank it, I felt the aroma of citrus fruits. It is sweet and tasty, but the sourness and bitterness follow it. It is a modern type that is easy to drink without much alcohol. Fukushima has a high level of quality. If I have a chance, I would like to drink Ichi and Ni.

More and more red yeast sakes are coming in for spring. Today we have Atago no Matsu no Harukoi. It is a staple of this time of year. I forced myself to match it with sashimi for dinner, but I thought it was obviously not the same. So I re-drank it with strawberries for dessert after dinner. It is full of oli and sweet and sour. It goes well with strawberries. This is a sake that requires attention when opening the bottle, but this year we were able to open the bottle easily without any spills. I would like to buy another bottle and drink it during the cherry blossom viewing season. If it is not sold out, I will buy another bottle 😊.

This is what we drank in December. It's everyone's favorite Tasake's special junmai. This is the first time I've had a fresh special junmai. It's fresh and has great balance 😋. As I recall, it tasted better on the second day than on the first day, as the corners were removed. But to be honest, I prefer the standard special junmai that is hi-ire. But to be honest, I prefer the standard fire-roasted special junmai. I would like to drink it again next year. ☺️

I've had an unexplained application not starting up for a while now, but it's getting a little better, so I'm resuming. As a reminder, I will post the ones from a little while ago in my spare time. The one I drank a while ago is "Yamahai Junmai" by Yukino Kayasha. It is a popular sake from Akita. I drank it at room temperature, and it tasted sweeter and more umami than I expected. It also has a good acidity and bitterness, which is typical of Yamahai. Considering the price, I think it is quite cosy. I can confidently recommend this bottle. It is as expected from Kayasha of Snow.
