I have been wanting to try this sake for a while now, but have been putting it off because I haven't had a chance to try it.
Today, it is Mitsui no Kotobuki's Dai-harakuchi.
As it is called "Dai-karakuchi," it has a very refreshing taste with excellent sharpness.
I think this is a common impression among all of us.
Personally, I felt it tasted best when it was close to room temperature.
It is spicy at its fullest as soon as you take it out of the refrigerator, but as the temperature rises, the spiciness is replaced by a delicious umami flavor.
I served it with firefly squid for the first time this year, and it went very well with it.
It was a model of a dry sake and very tasty.
