I have a rule that I will not post something that has already been posted once, so my posting frequency has dropped recently. Today's post is about a sake called "Shimehari Tsuru. I have been wanting to try this sake for a long time because it has a great reputation. I took a sip with high expectations and found it to be very rich, but with excellent sharpness. But the sharpness is outstanding. It is indeed delicious. It has a high alcohol content, but it's so good that it doesn't matter. I think this is the first good purchase I've made in a while. I will definitely put it on my list to buy when it comes out. I was very satisfied with this bottle.

Today is Sasamune. I rather like this sake. There are many delicious sakes from Fukushima Prefecture. It is a modern sake that is delicious on its own, but it is also excellent as a food sake. I paired it with teriyaki yellowtail and it went very well. By the way, recently I have been drinking one cup of sake a day and eating mainly vegetables and fish, and I have lost about 3 kilograms in one month. I guess it depends on my body type, but in my case, cutting out fat was more effective than cutting out sugar, and my body fat went from 22% to the 20% range. I hope that people will not say that I gain weight because I drink sake👍.

Fudo is the first time I drink it. It is a sake from Chiba Prefecture. I bought a packet thinking the label was purple and cool. I immediately drank it and thought it had a distinctive herb-like flavor. After that, it is a delicious modern-style sake as expected. It is very easy to drink. I like it so much I want to buy another one next time. I'm going to drink it with white dumplings and peanuts.

Haneya today. It's a popular sake from Toyama Prefecture. It says something about IWC, but, well, I'll spare you. The aroma is so-so, gorgeous. When I put it in my mouth, I thought, "What's that? I thought. The sweetness is moderate for a Haneya, and it seems to be umami type. It has umami, sourness, and bitterness. However, this may change after tomorrow. The overall impression is a modern type that reminds me of citrus but with less sweetness. The level of quality is as high as ever. It is a very well-balanced sake. It was a little unexpected but very tasty 😊.

I wanted to drink some Manjusen, so I went to a local liquor store. There was a hiya-otoshi (cold sake) on sale, so I bought it. It is a popular sake in Toyama Prefecture. I also bought some Haneya. I will post this one another time. I have been consciously buying more Hokuriku sake recently. I opened the bottle as soon as I got home. The first sip revealed the umami and crispness that is typical of Mansyuusen. It is a dry sake that goes well with soy milk hot pot. By the way, Toyama Prefecture's sake is of a very high level. I often see Gohyakumangoku produced in Toyama Prefecture, and I wonder if the water is good. I thought I should learn a little about Toyama Prefecture 🤓.

Today is Ikezuki. It is a local drink, but I only drink it occasionally. I wasn't planning to buy it, but the autumn leaves label looked cool, so I bought it. I immediately tried it and was impressed by the aroma and flavor of the sake. It is classic and strong. It also has a strong alcohol taste. I think it tastes better at room temperature or higher. It definitely doesn't have the flavor of today's sake, but sometimes I want to drink this type of sake. Especially in winter, it would be great to drink it hot. It's been a while since I've had a sake with a nostalgic flavor.

Today is the first Kuroryu in a long time. Fukui Prefecture is proud of this famous sake. When I saw that the number of Kuroryu check-ins at Sake-no-wa exceeded 5,000, I reconfirmed once again that it is a great sake. It is indeed a prestigious sake. As soon as the bottle is opened, it has an apple-like aroma. When you drink it, you can feel a solid umami flavor. The spiciness comes quickly, and there is also a moderate alcohol content. The overall impression is that it is a dry food sake type. I think it would be great with sashimi, but today we are having pizza🍕. I should have opened it after checking dinner 🥲.

I felt like my body was craving sourness, so I bought Senkou for the first time in a while. Today it will be Akatombo. I think the last time I drank Sentori was Yukidaruma. I drank it right away and found it to be sweet and sour. A unique flavor of Sentori that would be recognizable even in a blind tasting. While there have been many similar-looking sakes in recent years, Sentori is still Sentori. It is truly amazing. The label also makes you want to pick it up, and the perfection of the product seems to be head and shoulders above the rest. I think my next purchase will be Yukidaruma, but I'm starting to look forward to it now👍.

Today we have Saku hiyaoroshi. It is a popular sake from Mie. I didn't drink much Saku this year. I remember drinking only the new sake. It is a popular sake and there will be a lot of postings, so I'll refrain from giving detailed impressions, but it's still delicious. I made a stable impression of it. Personally, I think Saku has a really high level of perfection, including the label and the shape of the bottle. This hiyaoroshi label is also cool and makes me want to display it in my room😃. I think the next one I will drink will be Z or new sake. I am looking forward to it.

Today, it's Hakuryu after a long time. It is a sake from Fukui Prefecture. My image of this sake used to be a classic food sake type, but I heard that it has recently become more modern and current, so I bought it for the first time in a while. First of all, it has a unique aroma on the palate, which I think is more characteristic of Hokuriku sake than Hakuryu. It is umami type and has a strong acidity and bitterness. It is easy to drink without feeling much alcohol. I used to hear that the toji-san was having a lot of trouble with the direction of the flavor, so I wondered what would happen, but he has made a delicious sake👍. I'll buy some more when it's time for new sake. One more thing to look forward to😃.

Today is hiyaoroshi of Li Bai. It is a sake from Shimane Prefecture. Shimane sake is rarely seen in my area, but I wandered by my favorite liquor store and found it there. When I drank it, I got the impression that it was more of a classic sake, with a moderate sweetness. It is dry. It has a strong alcohol taste, but it is very easy to drink. It is a light and dry sake, just as it looks. I haven't had many sakes from the San'in region, so I would like to explore the region in the future. It was a delicious sake that made me want to explore the San'in region.

Today it will be Kashiwamori. I received it as a return gift for my brother-in-law's wedding present. It is a sake from Tochigi prefecture. I knew the name, but this is my first time to drink it. When I first took a sip, it was very thick and came with a bang. It gives a classic impression. I don't know the rice polishing ratio, but I guess it is about the same as special honjozo. The alcohol content is 19%, but it is very well-balanced and easy to drink. It tastes better than I expected, and to be honest, I don't think I would buy this type of sake myself, so thanks to my brother-in-law. I'm glad that my brother-in-law, who doesn't drink sake at all, went to the trouble of selecting it for me, and that alone makes the sake taste better 😃.

Today it will be Tamitsu. It's Hayakawa Sake Brewery in Mie Prefecture. I bought this bottle with the intention of drinking it during the Obon Festival, but due to circumstances, I bought it only now. I bought it in a bottle because I consider Tamitsu to be a reliable sake. I immediately tried it, and found that the balance of the sake is just as good as Tamitsu's. It is very easy to drink. It is very easy to drink. It is a bit on the dry side, but is that because it is a Kitashizuku? I think it is a refreshing food sake type. There are many great sake in Mie Prefecture, but in my opinion, Tamitsu is No. 1! I will continue to buy all the ones I can👍

Recently, I have been feeling that the level of Hokuriku sake has been rising, and I thought I should try again a brand I haven't had for a while and update my impressions to the latest, so I bought it. My impression of this sake is that it is more fruity than I had previously imagined, and is a refreshing and easy-to-drink food sake. It may be because it is a Daiginjo, but it is delicious ❗️. It was a delicious sake to begin with, but it has been further refined. If you haven't been drinking recently, you can't be too careful because the quality of sake can be very high without you knowing it. I really appreciate your reviews and reports. Today it will be Hananobun. It is a Miyagi Prefecture sake. It was my first time to buy this brand and I had no prior knowledge of it, but I liked the label so I bought it. When I opened the bottle, it has a very gorgeous aroma. I thought it would be full-flavored fruity, but it was not that much, and the sweetness was moderate and dry. My impression was that it was a dry food sake with a fairly robust flavor. I think it would be delicious with sashimi.

Today it will be macho. It's Oubai, Gunma Prefecture. I have wanted to try macho for a long time, but I didn't have enough room in my refrigerator or there were other sake that I wanted, so the timing wasn't right until now. When I drank it with high expectations, I found it to be delicious. I regret that I should have drunk it earlier. By the way, the manager of a liquor store lamented that restaurants don't buy this sake very often. The label is quite aggressive, so it seems that people other than sake enthusiasts like us hesitate to buy it. He said, "If you drink it, you will understand. I love it and it's fun 😊.

Today it will be Kawazuru's Sanuki Kuraudai. It is a sake from Kagawa Prefecture. It seems to be low in alcohol and recommended to be drunk on the rocks, so I followed that recommendation. It is often compared to Calpis, but my personal impression is that it is more like Yakult than Calpis. Well, it is similar to Calpis, but that is my impression. It is a low-alcoholic drink, so it can be consumed in one to two days, which is bad when you think about it in terms of cosmetics, but it was easy to drink and tasty. I will drink it again next summer.

I dropped by a nearby liquor store and found a quantity of Daishinshu. It is a sake from Nagano. It was a raw Junmai Ginjo Nakadori. I went home and drank it right away and found it delicious❗️. The aroma is a fruity and gorgeous ginjo aroma reminiscent of apples. In the mouth, sourness and umami from the slight effervescence come rushing in. There is a moderate bitterness and sweetness, and the sharpness seems to disappear after 5 seconds. The balance is outstanding. Since Daishinshu is a very tasty sake to begin with, it was a no-brainer to sell it in fresh quantities. I'll probably drink this in one day. I may go back tomorrow to buy some more 😃.

Today it will be Tako. I have been drinking Tamitsu a lot this year. Since it is a summer sake, the acidity seems to come forward more than usual. However, the balance and umami that are characteristic of Tamitsu are excellent. For myself, I trust Tamitsu so much that I buy all of their sake when they are released. I have already purchased a bottle of Junmai Ginjo Kitashizuku for the Obon Festival. I am looking forward to more of this sake👍.

Today, it will be Shinshin. I have rarely had Okayama Prefecture sake, and this will be my first time to try Shinshin. When I tried it, it was more modern than I expected. It is a modern sake, fruity, easy to drink, and very tasty. It has a strong sweet taste. To be honest, it tastes better than I expected 😅. I would like to try the other ones too. Everywhere is on a higher level these days😃.
