As the weather has been hot lately, I wanted to drink a refreshing sake, and while shopping at a liquor store, a bottle was recommended to me.
Today's bottle is a super dry Harushika.
I prefer dry sake, so when I opened the bottle, a fruity aroma wafted through the air.
When you drink it, it feels dry for a moment, but soon the umami, sourness, and bitterness follow.
It has a nice sharpness, and in a good sense, nothing is left behind. I think it is a very high level sake.
I think it may be the best dry sake I have had this year.
I had an image of Harushika as having a good dry taste, but it seems I was right.
It was very refreshing.
